1. eh? :P Are you a baseball man? I''ve been following the Jays for a few yesrs since I visited Toronto and it''s nice to see them playing well :)
 2. Where in Canada are ya mate? My parents are in NS at the moment :) OTBC and all that.
 3. ...and the even bigger shock...   Bolivia 6 Argentina 1     LOL!
 4.
Rebuilding ? Doomcaster will already have ''budgeted'' for Sammy''s 3m fee ;) Gunny will get 99p to arrange a loan. ...if Sammy does go, do you think we''ll try to hang on to Fozzie to play the Sammy role ?
We should really just try and trick Fulham into taking Fotheringham instead of Clingan.Face-Off anyone?
 5. Yes from me.   I sense chants of his name at the Barnsley game on saturday :)
 6. Hello all. I don''t post a lot, but I just thought I''d show y''all what I thought of the team tonight and see if anyone agrees. Marshall - 7 Didn''t have a lot to do. 2 Major moments; The goal which was just a dive and hope, and that marvellous save he made in the second half at the back post. Otsemobor - 1 I''m normally a fan of this guy, but he was shocking. Even my GF who hardly ever goes kept asking me if he should be running (or passing to someone in space...) Doc - 7 I thought he was ok. Made a hash of one or two clearances, but looked most likely to score. Start him upfront with Lupoli on Saturday ;) Omozuzu - 5 Nothing special. I think (could be wrong) he was at fault for letting Ambrose through. Drury - 6 I didn''t see why he was taken off at half time. I thought he was ok. Obviously Roeder nowhere didn''t. Croft - 7 Had a decent go. Never gave up running. I bet he''s fed up with playing with a full-back who won''t overlap even though he has the pace. Fotheringham - 1 Touched the ball what? 4 times? Absolute disgrace. Clingan - 6 Had a quiet game. Nothing spectacular. Bell - 3 I though he was carp tonight. The fans seem to be getting on his back. Lupoli - 7 Had a good game. Looked very dangerous when he got a chance.... Wasn''t too impressed with the dive in the area though. Cort - 5 Getting better. Still not fit though. Seems to be a bit of a Hartson Mk 2. Bertrand - 6 Same as Drury. Hoolahoop - 6 I thought he was ok. Looked a lot better when Russell was on. Russell - 6 Same as Hoolahan. If I were in charge, I would field the following team on Saturday. Marshall Semmy (unfortunately), Suzi, Grounds, Drury Croft, Russell, Hoolahan (Infront), Lappin Lupoli, Doc.   Thoughts?
 7. Agreed! Happy New Year all, and a better year for the football team too :)
 8.
Thomas Helveg ;)?
I''d rather have him here than Semmy at the moment. He had a shocker on Sunday.
 9.
Never looked likely to make it. He gave up far too easily. And how long do you give someone to settle in? We needed someone ready to play in this league. Bad signing.
I don''t know about the giving up too easily. If I remember (and it''s a little difficult recalling such a small sample) he was a bloody hard fighter in the home game where he played against the scum. I was quite disappointed to see him go :(
 10.

@ Armitage: Unfortunately, it is people who have an attitude like yours that made me hesitant to post on this board. @
I made up my mind of late that he has to go, but I still think that if he was given some decent funds, he would have done a lot better, I like the way he makes us play in general and to be honest, I could not care less that he has shaken things up and players don''t like him, but he does not have results to back this up. A manager can be not liked but he has to have respect of the players and I feel that he does not have respect of the players.
To be honest, even with more funds he might have struggled as he still has that terrible attitude which marrs his reputation. Then, we have the problem that sacking him and replacing him with a cheap manager which would be what we end up with leaving us no better off.
Back it up with hard evidence and then maybe i would believe you ,but come on we hear hundreds of these pathetic storys ,every day on this forum.
Oh I know, it''s just that there is ''always'' someone who will naysay everything. I can''t see why what I have said is something I should lie about, and I have also said that it may very well be untrue, but it was just something I heard. Nothing earth-shattering.
