Jermaine Defoe versus Cody Macdonald

You seem to be backing away from this question more and more. Money is irrelevant as we have zero chance of signing Defoe, never mind Torres. Would you rather have Cody than Defoe or Torres? -
Large boys in good condition!

You explained something that was completely irrelevant to the question. So in summary you would rather have Cody Mcdonald than Fernando Torres or Jermaine Defoe? -

That wasnt the question, you state you wouldnt have Defoe becuase of his goals to games ratio, so using the same theory you also wouldnt have Torres right? Also using your same theory, Ive scored 32 times in 22 local 5-a-side league games, surley that makes me better than Cody? -

I didnt quite put the Mcnamee comment like that Chops, I said the additional cost wouldnt be worth it for a sub/impact player when we have Mcnamee. We dont have a unlimited kitty, we dont have £40 Million to spend. Money needs to be spent on players that are going to be in our first 11 week in week out. -
I thought he all ready had, or was that Villa?

What a load of garbage, like you have any idea what was really going on behind the scenes at Chelsea!
I take it that was directed at me as I mentioned Chelsea. It''s been fairly well documented by a number of sources that Uncle Avram was a particularly ''hands off'' kind off a coach during his time at Chelsea. It worked OK there as it was a settled team with settled system and plenty of leaders on the pitch. To take a similar style to unsettled sides at the wrong end of the table is a recipe for disaster as the past two seasons have proven.
So your sticking by your statement that Chelsea''s players picked the team and tactics?? Give over.

Looking forward to tomorrow?

I think Blackpool will lose 1-0 or maybe even sneak a 0-0 1-1 I also think Birmingham will get stuffed 2,3-0 -
Do you think we''ve got a chance of singing that Ronaldo bloke? Heard he scored 40 goals this season or something? Maybe he''d like to come and play in a proper league [:)]
Dont need him, weve got Cody, how about Rob Green or Fraser Forster though? -
Kevin Muscat doing what he does best... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxdgSBbFLP4 Horrible person, such a coward of a man. Watch them all, none of them are 50/50''s he only does it when hes not in danger of getting hurt!

I hate the term LOL but I am actually LOL-ing and LMFAO and ROLF-ing all the rest. Theres absolute no contest, anyone saying Cody is A) Deluded B) On Drugs C) Related to him -
''Don''t think the additionaal cost would be worth it considering we have Mcnamee''... Heaven forbid we try to sign better players for the prem.
Or maybe it would be more logical to spend money and strengthen in more vital areas, rather than an impact play/sub, dont you think?
-
I dont think the additional cost would be worth it considering we have Mcnamee, who is very similar, albeit not quite as good.

The Opposite of a Glory Supporter………………?
CDMullins replied to CDMullins's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Im in Leeds shefcanary and was thinking the same think but there should still be a few to get to Man Utd, Man City, Bolton, Wigan, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle, Sunderland, Blackpool all get-to-able. -
Anyone who thinks Defoe is not good enough for Norwich needs their head testing! Anyone thinking theres the slightest chance he might come here is deluded!
-
So you think if Villa, Everton, Fulham came in for Fox he''d stay? Likewise Holt, Surman, in fact every player in our squad? You think none of these players want to play for the biggest clubs at the highest level. You cant slag off players for using smaller teams as a ''stepping stone'' but be happy when players do that to join Norwich.
-
Bit hypocritical A1Canary, What about Tierney/Fox/Holt etc etc, jumping ship and signing for the more glamorous Norwich City, rather than playing for Colchester, Shrewsbury etc etc. Plus you not think them same 3 players would ''jump ship'' and sign for a more glamorous club now?
-
Yeahman, were signing Defoe dude, fo sho!

I honestly miss League One away days. -
Much as been said recently about fans coming out of the woodwork, plastic fans and glory supporters. But will anyone be attending less games this season? With every City game been shown online, more media attention, Premier League costs and the fact that you are less likely to see City win, will any of this put you off going?

Could someone help?
