1. ''Poster Activity'' is related to the teams performance - There are always more threads/posts when we are doing either amazingly well, or really poorly. However when we are mid-table, plodding along and doing Ok, there seems to be less to discuss. So this coupled with tedious posts from the same members is making the Pink''un a very sad place.
 2. Can you post a couple of the quotes for the non-twiterers?
 3.

He is a ROI international. http://www.itfc.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10272~11754,00.html
Must be a better player than Hoolahan then
Trapatoni thinks so
 4. For those of you that havnt seen it, Jarvis was sent off for a pretty nasty looking elbow on Spillane on Saturday   Jarvis had only been on the pitch 5 minutes, it looked almost pre-meditated to me. No aplogies, no handshake after.   Makes you wonder if there were bad blood between the pair whilst they were at City
 5.

Gibson is exactly the type of player United get away with having, like O''Shea, Brown, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville. Never great players there but do a job.
I think you have it there CDM. Sure Gibson has some ability but like the names above he has fallen into the category of a squad player for Man United. The kind of player who doesn''t really specialise in anything, but can pick up all the work that is needed from him and do a serviceable job. Certainly if United need passing in the middle they will go for Carrick, for tackling and energy they will go for Fletcher, for drive they will go for Anderson and for a ball carrier they will go for Park or Valencia. So Gibson often finds he has to do a bit of everything, filling in the gaps of what is required. However for another team, that simply won''t be enough, few other teams can afford the luxury of such type players. I personally have seen it as no surprise that Sunderland have really struggled this season. They managed to pick up a bunch of players in Brown, O''Shea, Bendtner and Gardener (perhaps I''m harsh with the last one) who all did serviceable things for their previous respective clubs but lack the individual attributes that can help create a style and methodology to their game.
Wow, the Pinkun hasnt completley fallen to mush, there is someone else who speaks sense.   Good post Fellas
 6.
Yet Gibson plays for the biggest football team in the world, for the most succesful manager in the modern game and the best club side in English football history... so, explain why he is so rubbish CD? Cody Mac scores more than him.....
Grow Up,   At what point have I said he is ''so rubbish''??   I said the quote that he has ''a bloody good'' shot is laughable.   You also telling me Fergie''s never got it wrong? William Prunier, Massimo Taibi, Bebe, Davide Bellion, Djemba Dejemba, Kleberson, Juan Vernon, Jordi, Dong Fanzhaou to name a few.   Gibson is exactly the type of player United get away with having, like O''Shea, Brown, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville. Never great players there but do a job.
 7.

haha I am not quite that sad CD, i am happy with my point lol, no more research needed. Unfortuantly i saw Man Utd play at home over 40 times in last 3 season, mate has season tickets and living in Leeds it''s very easy. So in all honesty i would guess i have seen them more than most Norwich fans
Exactly the same, live in Castleford, Mates Doctors family at Pinders have season tickets, they are never bothered so go there very often.   Ask the United fans who they would like to shoot from 20 yards out, I bet you the names mentioned are Rooney, Nani, Giggs, Young or even Carrick.   Gibson is living off them couple of good goals he scored - For every one time he hits the target, he puts 50 wide or over
Can find you plenty that hit the target more than Gibson find me a striker who has never Missed then?
10.

''a bloody good shot''   This is laughable, its the same myth as Roberto Carlos been good free kick taker.   Just because you saw him score one on MOTD, doesnt mean he is good at them, you should see how many he gets wrong!
Well, not quite CD, think most people who know a bit about Man U know that he is regarded as their best striker of the ball from distance. Your right in that he doesn''t score more than 2 or so of them a season, but given a run of games he could be banging more in. Here''s a little quote i just found from Fergie back in 2009 (i don''t want to labour a point, just backing up what i have said) Ferguson added: "Darron is the one player in our club who can score great goals from outside the box. He has such tremendous power in his shot. (this was after his two goals against Spurs in carling cup) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/8389615.stm But like others have said, i don''t see him coming here and it is not the most vital position that needs improving, could be one for the future though, IMHO, he would be a good player for a top half club
Garbage, absolute garbage.   What would you expect Fergie to say when asked a question in a interveiw about 2 good goals?   Start watching more football matches and less MOTD.   Wish I could be arsed to find a website showing how many times he''d missed the target compared to the amount of goals hes scored.   Feel free to do the research and prove me wrong

 12. I faxed mine for both Everton and Wolves, one lot of money as been taken out, Everton I guess.   Dont forget the closing date for Wolves was 3 days after thee Everton one, which may delay it slighty
 13.
I can only think of Sir Les playing for Spurs, Newcastle and QPR. Who else did he play for?
Bolton, Leicester, cant recall the last.
 14. Pressuming its Premier League, That ones tricky, really no way of working it out, usual suspects would be up there, Shearer, Cole, Yorke, Henry.   But I think it will be someone obscure, trying to recall someone scoring a hatrick against them.   Think Cahill as a few but I''ll go Yakubu
 15. Stupid Laptop, first time I posted it came up ''internet explorer down'' was going to let it continue!   That killed a couple of hours at work!
 16. Think its Nick Barmby, if he scored for Hull? Fairly sure he was at Spurs, Liverpool, Boro, Everton and Leeds.
 17. Spot on Herman, Worst dive I''ve ever seen! I can understand players doing it when they have taken a touch too many, or are losing the ball. But to do it the way Holt did, in Arsenal''s 6 yard box, with the ball at his feet was nothing short of stupid. I love Holt but its getting tiresom and the referee''s are wising up to him.
 18.
You''ll find out first thing tomorrow morning. Darren Huckerby and Dion Dublin will pitch up on your doorstep with a giant "lottery cheque" style ticket.Fingers crossed!Mungo
You really are a complete moron. I love how you sign all your drivvle off with ''Mungo'' - asif we wouldnt know who it was if you didnt put it! Tnanks to the serious answers!
 19. Have done this for the first time today for Wolves and Everton, How do you know if you have been successful? And when do you find out? Thanks in advance Chris
