1. First of all ..LOVE THIS SIGNING! Palace ST mt(remember 2003 john and the cherry tree! :) ,Reckons he was starting to show PREM class and his potential! ..Also it is bull they agreed a fee with Everton as according to his inside palace source, everton had told them Celtic had made it clear they were interested,(according to him 3 mill to secure deal) and even if palace matched the bid,Vaughan would be allowed his preference... Fast, brill first touch and never gives up on a tackle...Though he holds defenders shirts and backs into players, which he has been lucky not to have been penalised more this season... IM LOVING IT! AND IN LAMBERT I TRUST!!! :):):)
 2.
Spot on scrimmage, OTJ has not had his chance yet! People are writing him off without having seen him given a chance!
As he was a bit of the pace in yesterdays match,i thought he done well!...I think we should hang on to him,as a squad player and either let him have a run out in our long league cup run we gonna have this year,or loan him to championship side..
 3. promoted! I think anyway...left us in 2002/03 ...We get promo Left stoke the season before they got promoted.. Left us again..and we get promoted! So PNE knows what to do ;) For anyone starts,im sure he isnt the factor and was a big reason why we are here in prem,by helping us get out of L1
 4.
What are people worrying about? He''s more than delivering what''s been expected of him and he wants a contract to reflect that. What I''m pleased about is that he''s stated that he and his team want to stay here and help Norwich realise their potential. IMO, Norwich have never lookd in better shape, even in the early ''90s we knew that the chairman would sell on all too quickly... and he did.
Exactly mate,...HE LOVES US AND HIS OTHER 2 MUSKETEERS LOVES US,THE BOARD IS THE BEST EVER... DELIA/McNALLY AND I FOULGER AND I KEEP FORGETING FOULGER WHO HAS SPENT LOADS!....QPR Board wont even talk to their fans "the prices are what they are!" ..Arrogant sob`s Lambert states"he never wanted to leave here and wants to establish Norwich as a prem side" I couldnt be happier if this was a sat nite after my 5th pint! :):):)
 5. I was forced to watch a movie from the 70`s on dvd a little while ago called Clockwork set in the future and i now realise he was in it....Its a face you dont forget!
 6.

Isn''t that what a second team is Alex? Supporting and Following aren''t set in stone terms...
Fair enough GP, I suppose it didn''t make too much sense the way I worded it, and it did sound contradictory. I''ll put it like this. I personally couldn''t have a second team in any way, shape or form - but each to their own, free country afterall!.
ENGLAND are my second team, but then again they should be equal first!
 7.

Norwich house..and so far no one has been evicted" There is a returning housemate, cody, who used to be camara shy and didnt really get involved when he was here, but in the gills BB House,he was the main attraction... Perhaps he will now get involved in the forthcoming tasks and do a Freddie Halfwit, who was the outsider in BB09 and came through to steal the show...Who knows... you decide Nah not missing BB in the slightest :)
Maybe BarclayBred should go in BB and keep this messageboard for normal people...[;)]
:) Dont think i wouldve lasted more than a day, hate being stuck in one place, and anyway they used to finish after the season started! Did know,by proxy,a mate who went to school with, the gay hairdresser from cromer who was in it a few years...

 9.
Could you point us to a reference about City spending £1.75m in 2004 Also please bear in mind that the player will be will rise considerably for those who already here. Players who joioned us in League 1 will have accpted League 1 wages .... because they were playing in League 1. They are not now.
So this is your forum name chris? ;) It was in a EEN just after we got the doc,and it estimated how much we had spent... Im sure the wages of our current squad was built into the budget already.. Which reminds me,i keep all important EEN`s from promo`s etc and the one in 2004 which was printed the day after out city hall parade.was much better than this time around! Last time the gave a superb center spread, aerial view,of the gathering,in colour and a lot more seperate pages than this time, including the the lads on top of bus stops and vans, and the side of the castle mound full of yellow and green! It was my 3rd fav EEN,and i was hoping for similar dramatic pics this time. By way my fav was the 1 after beating bayern 2nd was a centre spread of Leon holding his arms out with the caption TOP OF THE LEAGUE AT PORTMAN ROAD!
 10. As i havent openend an account yet to reply to your piece,"What can paul buy for 40 mill" in the EDP,i thought i would add my 2pence worth on here... I think its safe to assume that the figure that was let out of the bag by our chairman is fact and PL has/is playing it down so he can start negotiations for new players without the price being inflated by the selling club.. So the first observation i would make is,the difference between the last time we got to prem, the pre season signings etc and doomcaster saying "we have to be prudent",which therefore gave worthy no chance, spending reportedly just under 1.75 mill incuding fees, wages on charlton/jonson and helvy!..Okay the doc and Deano later that probaly took us to the 5/6mil mark.. This time we/the Board are giving PL every chance with the reported figure! There was a great disscussion on fee`s wages on sky sports 1 on a sunday morning about a month ago,and taking man city out of the equation, the fees for players bought and sold hit its curve top around 2003 to 2007! So apart from decent players from the chamionship, and even mackiel smith in league 1,there are the players, there are hundred of hungry european players who are decent, with either a point to prove or on their way up,who would break a arm or leg to play in the prem.. And then theres the prem players who are not getting regular 1st team action, due to losing their place through injury etc So for me "What would 40 mill buy" In comparison to what we had or spent last time, A HELL OF A LOT!
 11.
Yep - great for the club to be in the top tier again. However was reading Ruddy and Tierney interviews where basically they were saying - isn''t it amazing that players like us are going to be in the tunnel at old trafford etc (I paraphrase). Well this has me a bit worried. We are not up to make up the numbers. They need to come to terms with it quick. It''s going to be tough, but any game is 11 blokes in shirts vs 11 blokes in shirts. There is no reason to fear anyone. Some of the defending in a couple of the games in MOTD2 last night was poor. We have 100% earned the right to play at that level and they need to get into the mentallity that they are now equals and we need to give these guys a game.
Tierney also stated "We are determined not to be tourists in the prem" And Ruddy stated "Im confident we can compete in the prem" :)
 12.
""I''m sorry I''m an 11-year old boy stuck in the body of a 36-year-old man "It could be worse, it could be the other way round [;)]
You beat me to that by 5 mins! :) Though i was gonna say "dont worry son,im on the phone to the authorities now!" :)
 13. Tell you one thing,QPR do play attractive footy like us,and so glad its us 2 going up instead of Leeds! ...Gotta say swansea aint boring either,so wouldnt mind them joining us... Qpr also used to have a player who was really talented,Stan Bowls who according to bro,we used to ttp with a song about walking a mile and a bit to rub his etc etc ,but in an interview in a sports mag,he declared his other fav team was NORWICH! Never seen the guy play as before my time, but was like a Hucks type apprarently
 14. There will always be NEW supporters, either by being impressed by a game,or just reaching the age that they can now afford a season ticket... So even though im in my 6th year as a ST holder,i would welcome new fans and ones who now can afford to be regulars! Oh and a post i made last year concerning a few work mates who were thinking of getting ST`s sitting together pref the barclay, couldnt find seats in same row,so a couple bought new ones and the rest carried on just attending odd games...
 15.
I seem to remember in years gone by that the close season has been a problem for Norwich. Usually we get stories from the management that; - players / agents on holiday so can''t contact them for signings - tournaments during the summer interfere with signings (u17, u21) this summer and then it all kicks off around about July 5weeks before the season starts. However i do hope this year will be different and because of lansbury and pacheco we can get them back quickly. I''d like to see Mcguigan and bennet for some width and pace. Graham and maybe a sneaky signing from west ham if we could afford the wages. victor Obinna looked pretty handy. And although i''ve mentioned all mid/forward players its our defence i think is most critical... though i dont know anyone we''d sign!
That was under the old doomcaster regim! Last year in late may/early june,we were commenting on how different it was this pre season, with all the quick transfer biz! And then GOD.Sorry Mcnally made a statement that we better get used to early transfer dealings! :)
 16.
I''m baffled as to why there''s a need to post another thread about shopping lists when there''s so many available. You must have an alarming self-inflated sense of importance to do that. The same kind of alarming self-inflated sense of importance that persuades one to write a blog in fact...http://services.pinkun.com/FORUMS/PINKUN/CS/blogs/canary_amongst_seagulls/archive/2011/05/10/2528190.aspx
Lol :) I try to have a sense of humility, but as soon as nature calls,i soon become egotisical! There was a certain "read between the lines" on my wish list, but it went unnoticed.. Trust in Lambert :)
 17. I agree canaryfan68 and would like to add our 2 biggish pre season signings happenend after the euro championship, and it looked like to me,worthy choose helv and that swede winger on the basis of 2 good performances, without doing any serious homework.. Though charlton was a good call.
 18. Mackail smith cover bennet cover Green from daggers cover Tommy beckmann..saw him play in bunds league game for a midtable side and was awesome! cover and right back cover :):):)
 19.
There''s a guy at my work who is a massive Liverpool fan who reckons Pacheco is a done deal... He also talks an amazing amount of rollocks so don''t know what to believe right now!
There`s a guy who works down the chippy........... :)
 20. as was then neare rtop of market, and had some drunk singing, ithink, sottish songs! Watched later on recording of lookeast.and heard the "This club is now stable" but they cut away to presenter just as she stated the last thing which had the crowd cheering? What did she say at the end?
 21.
40 million was never, ever, there in the first place, I was wrong to assume most fans knew and understood that. Well done Archant for bigging it up again...........now look what you''ve started.
Sorry but after a chat with a certain ex blue peter guy,he led me to believe that paul has a free reign on transfers, and though after pushing him for where he got info and exactly how much,he just hinted that bowkett has already let the cat out of the bag,and Paul is trying to put it back in! :):):) He also said he will probably split his dealings into 2 windows :)
