1. Mcnally knew Lambert already. Mcnally is also big pals with Martin O''Neill who recommended him to us. Paul Lambert and Martin O''Neil are mates. Delia listens to O''Neill and it would not surprise me at all if O''Neill backed up Lamberts recommendations. Anyway i''m still unclear what we are accused of here. i was under the impression that we had been reported for failing to agree compensation and not any sort of illegal approach. Perhaps camulc*nt can clarify that for me? The main gist of this thread though is that whatever the rights and wrongs of the Lambert situation, Cowling is acting in an inflamatory and irresponsible manner starting with the slagging us off in the press and asking for points deductions and continuing today with his little rant. He has turned what would have no doubt been a fairly lively encounter into a bit of a powerkeg and into the bargain has added to the powderkeg by ensuring that Norwich fans will be in the home ends come January 15th. If there is trouble then in my mind he will have to take a share of the blame. as for the Leeds being a "special situatiion" thats just rubbish. Cowling even said it was highly unusual for him not to let an away side have the extra tickets but for this one game he was not going to allow it.
2. Fair play to them for stepping up. Personally I was surprised the Doc did not go before Gill. Having said that I don''t think its any coincidence that the players who missed included  these two simply as i do not think they are very good! I knew Gill would miss as soon as I heard he was next up. Cody also obviously does not like taking pens.
3. Should we nick their manager again afterwards, just for s**ts and giggles?
4.
Morty And Jim Smith, I can see both your points of view in answer to my post. And maybe hi comments are not helpful but we have no idea what is going on has gone on between our respective boards, I would suggest it''s not been great and our Chairman has done what he''s done. Good on him from my point of view, he is sticking up for his club. For the record I have been in the away end at games, not many. The worst and riskiest was Wycombe and I had my coat done up to hide colours, late decision to go and didn''t realise it was all ticket until I arrived. I watched the game stayed quite (other than a really odd appeal for handball that made me stick out a bit, I managed to change an appeal in to a what are you doing type shout). If your in the wrong end it''s you choice and you are there against the rules, nobody else''s choice or fault but yours whoever you try to blame. I made friends with Norwich supporters this year on holiday and I had a bit of grief coming away from you ground before that after the 7-1. I think most fans of both teams don''t have issues with most of the others.
"riskiest was Wycombe" Lol. That''s too funny. I know you have what passes for a rivalry with them, but dear oh dear - hardly Galatasary is it?  Thanks, made me laugh.
5. What a pathetic little man he is. Too bad we''ll have to be all over your "home" areas now. Tickets can be bought online with zero ID and a Norwich post-code. See you in January little man!
6. is the fact no-one is bothered about playing them, it is not a ''big'' game. Yeovil were bang up for it yesterday, I bet they won''t be as motivated when little Col U roll into town. Tiny, tiny Col U.
7. They still got that mong Gudgeon doing it, or have they found someone with a sense of humour?
8.

I hate saying this but I agree with what Blah copied from me!![:D] Wiz there is no new investment yet. This is purely debt restructuring, find the lady work. Answers prepared before the questions. So don''t go giving yourself another nasty turn of excitement!![:D] Go back to hex''s and leave future telling to Mystic Meg.
As you''re a respected poster on here Butler, I''d normally agree with you, but its the quote in red, coupled with THAT rumour of mine which has got my hopes up: Those reasons could involve trying to secure extra finance as part of the club''s financial restructuring, something which looks likely to be clarified at the Canaries'' annuual meeting next year
Surely that could be something as simple as a new bank loan or shifting our existing ones elsewhere?  Ideally I''d like nice weathly person to chuck some cash in but I don''t think its likely in the current climate. : /
Esp not when the club is not even up for sale.
9. I wonder if any Norwich fans will just buy tickets in home areas then?
10.

nice advert pal
Cheers....I see you are advertising the fact you are a c**k as well ;-)
I''ll leave you behind pal.
11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7F9QHjOZCQ "I love you, yes I do - cos I know that you luvver me too." "Anthony Mcnammeee on the wing for Norwich City" Scans perfectly. Good chant. BTW - what is the CBS?
12.

Seeing as we had a gloating Colchester fan on here last Saturday, just thought I''d inquire that poster how his village team got on this evening? Still firing up the league are we? And how''s the goal difference at the moment considering you had a 12 goal swing your way after the first game. What''s that? We''ve got a better goal difference now? Maybe that''s because you''re a village team and you''re going nowhere this season!
Do you not think they deserve their bit of fun? After all we did steal their manager! I remember how pi$$ed i was when Everton took Mike Walker and how every week i would look for their result to see if they lost, Was gutted they stayed up last day of the season! Good luck to Col U i hope we go up in top 2 and they do it in the play offs.
Yes, let''s just ingore their chairman constantly bleeting in the press about how we should be deducted points...
13. Bit optimistic asking for Colchester fans...lucky to find any at a game let alone on a Norwich forum - one notable weirdo aside.
14. I must have imagined the 3 (three) weak goals he let in to Burnley at the weekend then... Bang average. The fact he''s in the England team is one of the reasons we won''t win the world cup.
15. He is bang average, so would not hold out hope of a pay-day anyway.
16. I think we could easily sell 25-30k season tickets in the Prem. Then you have got much bigger away support coming too. West Ham, Spurs, Arsenal etc..could all bring up to 5k on their own. 35K no problem whatsoever.
17. Gudgeon is awful. Stopped listening now he does it. Shame.
18. Well done to our Proper Manager for addressing our weaknesses ahead of the Christmas schedule. Time will tell, but strikes me that a pacy winger, and a decent RB are exactly what we needed. Onwards and upwards.
19. "lacks any real pace" ??? Well we don''t need him then - got enough of those.
20. Little Colchester be warned, we have ruined your place before, we might do it again if you don''t just accept we are your masters. http://www.unexplainable.net/artman/publish/article_13861.shtml
21. Will we kick up a fuss like this when Lambert leaves us for a bigger club? No. Utterly pathetic and just shows them up as the small time hoods they really are. Very, very sad; not the actions I would expect from our feeder club.
