  1. used to know him well when he first moved up here coz he lived near me, he''s chompin at the bit to get in there and he should!!
  2. hopefully someone who saw the game can shed some light on this but from my position under teh radio i often heard the words, "mckenzie wins a header", i think he is capable of winning headers and playing alongside huckerby with ease, any one else think the same?
  3. mine is coz thats what i do? football manager/coach! also refers to my wheeler dealer ways on managerial games where i find good players at cheap prices (often from russia)
  4. apologies for mine, i did actually tick teh box but this is how big it appears?? any suggestions?
  5. your gonna love this one, took me by surprise. as from the daily mail (yes i read it at work unfortunately) today "Cookery guru and Norwich director Delia Smith shamelessly used an interview on BBC''s Five Live yesterday to plug her club''s shirt sponsors McCain. According to Delia, McCain''s various frozen potatoe products - mash, oven chip or roast - are now an integral part of a player''s diet. However, the nutritional benefit of oven cooked chips for footballers has never featured in Delai''s cookery books or her TV programmes" I could swear McCain doesnt feature anywhere on my shirt!!
  6. how cool is this, takes a little gettin used to but hey i like it
  7. i think the little man played ok today, making the step up well so far. how surprised was i to see he chasing robert pires and tackling him on our bi-line
  8. having spoken to numerous posh fans, seen the lad play and knowing him too. i believe that he has the ability and attitude to cut it in the prem, he is a class act and now that he has settled in i would expect big things from him. possibility of hucks on the left, bentley on the right with sven and mckenzie up top
  9. he mentioned that he would come here as first choice, i am sure worthy is monitoring the situation, give him time he hasn''t let us down yet

  17. Natalie, i want an honest answer on here after monday on what you think of Jez''s coaching techniques? he makes me laugh some of the thngs he does and his plans on his note pad. i prefer to keep it in my head and go with the flow when coaching but thats just me.

  20. 1st wiz last nite i felt awful although i dont possess your powers of foresight in the first 10 minutes i predicted a 2-1 france victory with beckham to miss a penalty. at the time my mates laughed however after the final whistle they were in disbelief and i personally was shocked and gutted.
  21. i as a volunteer teaching assistant, football coach, student and as a player myself am aware that no two people are the same, but i am also aware that confidence plays a huge part in the performance of players in football. A footballer who is full of confidence is more likely to develop to a higher standard and play a better game week in and week out than a player who isn''t a confident in themselves. My point being that earlier in the season both Henderson and Shackell recieved a lot of overly critical and sometimes nasty comments about their performances. while i am not criticising those people who have made comments (out of love for their beloved team) i do believe that slating younger players, such as hendo and shackell after a bad peformance is not the way to go about making them feel comfortable and improving their game. focusing on the positives and then highlighting areas for improvement would make them feel alot better about themselves and maintain their self confidence, thus improving their performances. any opinions?
  22. you have to have Henry in your team, it just doesn''t make sense not to, will prob follow up with a cheapy like yakubu and then see who comes in before the season starts for my final striker. see if i can continue my record for the past 2 years by finishing in the top 100 again.
