1. What a stupid dumb comparison! Gunn hasn''t got 1 coaching badge and not even coached any of our youth teams. To even think and suggest that Gunn could be just as good as Seb Guardiola is shocking!
2. Who do you blame for all this mess, so many clubs find themselves in? I think Sky TV is one of the major factors in all this. They pump far too much money in the premiership and all the other leagues suffer.
3. Owners, manager and players come and go but fans are for life!
4. From the board that is, or what''s left of it. Seems very strange that we have heard nothing since Munby and Doncaster both left. Have they all gone on holiday? Or are they in discussions with new investers, new owners( i wish) or new board members. I hate all this silence and not knowing what is going on!
5. These i can believe: Norwich City are set to announce fresh investment in the form of two local businessmen. These businessmen are not multi–millionaires, but will provide City with a small transfer budget. Manager Gunn will use this budget to build a team based around youth. Gunn was at St Mirren vs Hamilton game on Saturday, watching Brian Easton and James McArthur. Ebbsfleet Utd''s Darius Charles is reported to be a target and forum rumours are linking the club to Colchester''s out of favour England U18 international Medy Elito. On the way out is winger Lee Croft, with Sammy Clingan and Darrel Russell both rumoured to have instructed agents to look for new clubs. Jon Otsemobor, Dejan Stefanovic, Adam Drury, Jamie Cureton and Matty Pattison have all been told they''re free to leave the club – either because they''re on high wages or simply not wanted. Simon Lappin and Stuart Nelson have both been offered new deals, with Nelson and Rudd expected to battle it out for the no. 1 shirt vacated by David Marshall.
6. What did Croft actually do to deserve it? Run around like a headless chicken because he can''t cross a ball and had 3 assists all season and he gets player of the season! Shocking!!!!!
7. Well everybody that i know voted for Clingan and everybody couldn''t believe Croft got it! I thought it was fixed too, so the board was hoping he would stay!
8. How can you only blame Gunn 5%? He had 19 games in charge! We were not in the bottom 3 when he took over! He brought in his own players and played his own tactics! The board is the main problem because they are the one''s who keep putting donkey''s in charge! Board 50% Gunn 50%
9. I just hope when Gunn is sacked that he is kicked completely out of the club! No going back to his previous role!
10. Don''t you see. This is exactly what Delia and the rest of the board want you to do. Until Gunn has proven to me that he can manage a team, i''m not going to support him. He had 19 games in charge and got us relegated! How can we support him with a record like that? An experienced manager would of turned things round with the same players. We''ve seen this happen many times this season in the premiership. Just because Gunn has been at the club behind the scenes for years, doesn''t make him a good choice as manager! He''s got to earn the fans praise and he certainly hasn''t done that yet!
11. You have to go with experience! It doesn''t matter that Gunn is a legend. It''s been proved time and time again, for success you need an experienced manager in charge! For people to make excuses saying the players he had were crap is just a pathetic lame excuse. Take what happened in the premiership as an example. Spurs were crap at the start of the season. Couldn''t get a win to save their lives. They give Ramos the boot get in Harry Rednapp and with the same players climb to mid table safety. When Harry left Portsmouth, Tony Adams look over his first job in a Managerial role and they went rapidly down hill and down the table until he was given the boot. The same happened at Blackburn with Ince (a step to far) and Newcastle, were they appointted a manager with their hearts and not their brains. If we had kept Roeder i beleive we wouldn''t of gone down. We stood a far better chance of surviving than putting a complete inexperienced person in charge. Delia and Michael have made cock up after cock up and will never learn this simple rule: YOU HAVE TO GO WITH EXPERIENCE!
12. Here is another interesting fact about Grant Holt: It stated that Holt was the player to cover the greatest distance per game in both Leagues One and Two, averaging 4.8kilometers per game.
13. Someone did this quick on wiki site: As Shrewsbury did not achieve promotion via the play-offs, Holt is rumoured to have a pre-arranged transfer agreement with recently relegated Norwich City.
14. I see that someone else has now posted that Grant Holt is on his way!
15. Probably a load of crap but I would like to think there is some truth in these rumours. Apart from Hoolahan leaving the rest would be great. Norwich city will sign andy bishop from bury for £350.000 they will also sign grant holt from shrewsbury for £300.000 players on there way out of carrow road are wes hoolahan to sheff wed and jamie cureton going to bristol rovers in a player plus cash for ricky lambert he will be lee crofts replacement also on the way is simon whatley from preston for £150.000 also expect a goalie to arrive on loan from everton either turner or ruddy for season
16. Not sure how much he would cost because he still has a year left on his contract at Chesterfield. Can play as an attacking midfielder or striker and has scored 27 goals in 37 matches this season. Out of 72 matches for Chesterfield he has now scored an amazing 48 goals. Very good player and should be within our price range and budget. Thoughts............
17.
who thinks Clingan will stay?Cant honestly see anyone paying our demand for him....
Clingan will NOT be staying. His girlfriend has been telling everyone that he''s leaving.
18. I see were your coming from Jimmy. There is so many out of contract players around at the moment we would be crazy to pay a transfer fee. Instead the money saved could be used for wages. Lita being that he''s free would cost us around 500k a season if we paid him 10k a week like u said. The one thing that concerns me is Michael Wynn Joans said last week that we would have to have a League 1 budget. So this will probably mean the club will not pay more than 5k a week in wages. I think you will find that even Cureton is earning more than that and he''s crap!!
19. If only he could Buy his way out of his contract to come here!
20. Shows you what a dumb ar*e board we have doesn''t it. Always going for complete novices time and time again. It''s no wonder we are where we are today.
21. The point i was trying to make is, if Delia gave Cullum half her shares plus 1% (51%) that would make Cullum the Majority shareholder at the club. He would own 31% of Norwich, Delia would still own 29% and the remanining 40% would still be owned by who they are now. This way Delia still owns a big slice in Norwich, so she hasn''t lost all her money, which she is in danger of doing so, if we went into administration. This also means NO change in ownership because Cullum would only have 31% of the club. With Mr Cullum''s £20 million into team rebuilding, the club good build a team that could lead us to back to back promotions. This would then mean the value of the shares would probably go up about 4 or 5 times. No one person would have overall control of the club like Delia does now but Cullum would be the majority shareholder!
22. Should step aside and offer to GIVE Peter Cullum 31% of their shares. It would still leave Delia and Michael 30% but it would give Mr Cullum the majority share he wanted and hopefully he would still be willing to put £20 million into the club for players. This way the debt would remain unchanged and would not have to be paid off straight away as the ownership has not really changed. If we acheived promotion back to the Championship and even after that to the premiership, the value of the shares would go through the roof and then Delia would be able to sell and get all her money back.
