1. Iv played against jonjo in a county game while he was playing for essex, and he absolutely ran the show. Followed his progress since then and looks like hes going to go all the way. early days though.
2. Sorry if i have missed something but i haven''t heard anything from the club about young full back sam habergham, which is surprising as a result of our lack of left backs and his England international recognition. Most likely to be injured i suppose. Also it seems fellow youngsters such as lathrope, kelly, renton etc have been left well behind by even younger players such as dumic, stephens and adeyemi who have been taken on tour over them. Will be interesting to see how all players pan out over the course of the season, however i would be surprised if anyone other than; habergham, dumic, stephens, adeyemi or rudd play any part at all. thoughts?
3. It seems a common trate for quite a few players to go into the academy and come out actually worse players. Surely the least you should be able to take out of being released is you are a better player for the ''specialist'' training recieved? Seems not. Apparently kenny left to pursue A levels earlier in the year when he realised he was getting no where, and struggled to fit in with the cocky banter involved in the academy. But played when called upon cos striker shortage just stopped training every day. Also how much is someone like Ricky Martin going to be on? a fair wack i imagine.
4. Yeah i think he is being internationally recognised now by England which is the first outfield player we have had in their for a good few years. Its hard because the players will no only a few of them can make it, and i would agree an ex pro fully understanding what it takes to make it would be more beneficial. However Martin may be an outstanding coach, i dont know, what are your thoughts on him from going to the games? alot of people i know think hes a tw*t and really arrogant? Hopefully out of this squad we can produce 2 or 3 good players for the first team cos anymore is a big ask. I think Adeyemi could go all the way.
5. Understand your point Birdman but i have mentioned something about this on the ''nick davey being released'' page. Given your knowledge of the academy this season, i was wondering if you could tell me how these players in particular have performed this season; Habergham, Reeves, Stephens/Dumic (whos better?), Francomb, Dawkin. All players who are apparently quite good but dont hear much about. thanks
6. To be honest Birdman, it seems like your a good friend or family to Davey judging by how strongly you feel about the player and situation. He seems a decent player although nothing more, Kelly provides more attributes needed for the modern game such as strength etc, admitadly not as a striker at the moment anyway. Also how do u no he is being released when he is still being played by the academy and nothing at all has come out of the club regarding this? I would, however agree with you about faces having to fit with the academy. It seems to me like its not what you know its who you know with norwich who are more interested in size and stature rather than natural skill, which given the modern game may be the way they have to do it. Also all the players i have come across seem very arrogant and in love with themselves, whether this is the academy or not i dont know.
7. But Grant had passion and grit... He done a really great job didn''t he
8. Superb post. very similar to the post i made on http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1451911/ShowPost.aspx but you seem to get the point cross in a better fashion (Y).
9.

I am a long time reader of this website and generally speaking find it quite interesting.. However, i find this whole huckerby saga strange. Not for one minute am i saying he wasn''t a good player, probably the best i have ever seen in a yellow and green shirt, but all this willingness to have him back seems bizarre after the last two seasons he was here he produced next to nothing performance wise, and was even slated on here by many saying he was past it and was a luxury player offering no protection for the left back etc.. just because he has scored a few in a pi$$ poor MLS he is not suddenly the best thing since sliced bread again. I dont understand mindset of some fans, in my opinion hucks would not give us anything extra other than possibly a feel good factor back into carrow road which could be worth that in itself.. but otherwise i cant see what he would offer, we would be left even more open on the left flank which isnt good for a side conceding atleast two goals a game. and has lost the pace and acceleraion he once had. What if he came back and flopped, would we forget all the good memories of him and get on his back just like we did with Worthy? when now it seems we cant find a manager that will get us above 12th position in the table. In my opinion we need an attacking midfield player with the talents similar to the ones possessed by a certain francis, to make us competitive. MARSHALL---------- SEMI---------KENNEDY----------STEFANOVIC-----------BERTRAND CROFT--------CLINGAN----------NEW CM***-----------HOOLAHAN --------------------LITA---------------SIBIERSKI   looks a good side on paper and should offer a good balance. I ask you just to consider my thoughts altough i am not expecting masses of replys as early posters seem to go un noticed. however if it is written by wiz, jas the barcley man, city angel to name a few, it gets replys but i will put my violin away now lol, just let me no what your views are to hucks and the team.
Totally agree.Hucks was a great player in terminal decline, and the time was right, and I have been banging on about the need for a midfielder to go alongside Sammy for ages as Fozzy,Rusty and Patty are not good enough. However,I would go for Bell over Hoolahan.
Although easier said than done as quality attacking midfielders are few and far between. but presuming we signed one perm (which isn''t likely without new backing) then 7 out of the starting 11 would be our own players which shows maybe the loan situation is not as bad as first thought. Also, you could be right about bell, and then give the chance for hoolahan to go centre mid to unlock defences from there, while clingan does his dirty work, he may not then suffer from a lack of pace which he does out wide. could be worth a shot? because i really believe hoolahan has a lot of quality but whatever reason we have not seen it yet.
10. Just wondered the thoughts of fans who regularly attend colney to watch the youth team on who the best prospects have been so far this season? heard habergham adeyemi and reeves are good although reeves is quite often on the bench. also what has happened to manny richardson has he been released?

12. I honestly think that eagle is one of the worst players we have ever given a pro contract too. Nothing against the boy but i just dont think hes good enough. plus he is about as quick as my grandad. Never seen halliday play though so cant comment.
13. Cheer up you bunch of old fogies.. personally, club foot is one of the best entrance songs we have had. Gets me in the mood anyway :) thought there was more than 250 votes? may be wrong tho
