  1. Talking of missing posters haven’t seen Sweary Canary around lately. Perhaps he too is taking a break from all the madness.
  2. I think they’ve already had 57,000 and they’re due to open the upper tier of the Anfield Rd stand very soon. It’ll get the capacity up to 61,000
  3. Didn’t know Sarah was on the Scousers books but Salah is on international duty so unavailable
  4. There’s a link for the Radio Norfolk commentary from Mr Angry on Page 4 ( sorry can’t do links ) I can get commentary in Cambridgeshire but the link does work.
  5. There must be a pitch inspection early on to try and save unnecessary travelling. With covers the pitch may be above freezing at KO but it’s set to be below zero at that time so I can’t see how they can play much into the match before it becomes dangerous. Also they’ve got open terracing so not sure if that would pass safety rules. We’ve seen games postponed in the PL because the access to the ground has been unsafe although that’s usually because of heavy snowfall. I’d say it’s doubtful the game can be completed tonight.
  6. No way is that the worst view at a football ground. Have you sampled the delights of the Arthur Wait at Palace ? It is way too high at Newcastle though. I went there when we drew 0-0. I’d asked for seats as low as possible so sure enough we were literally on the back row. There’s signs in the stairwells telling you how you’re getting closer. The Geordies have a funny sense of humour.
  7. Didn’t think Rooney could reach those. Did Collymore give him a leg up ?
  8. I think Essex has given up on most away games as he bristles at the thought of paying £25 membership rather than the expense and inconvenience of travelling to matches ( big smile )
  9. In that case my bad. The Leeds website says £47 Cat A games and £45 Cat B. Ipswich fans paid £47. Maybe we had a reciprocal arrangement ?
  10. Yes, the terraced enclosure had gone by the late 60’s but it was still there, only seated. I went in there for our first top division season. Queued up for around 90 mins as it was pay on the day. Those wooden board seats were about as comfortable as church pews.
  11. You’ll certainly have no problems getting a ticket for this one. Long way to travel for many fans and a January midweek fixture means not many families can go. Aside from that getting stiffed £47 for an adult ticket won’t appeal to many. The good news if they’ve decided it’s a Category B match it’s only £45 ( big smile )
  12. Please, please someone come on here and say they had supper. We need a bit of cheering up.
  13. Yes Jim seems a bit bonkers. We wait for them to feel Spurs collar over their Y*d Army renditions. It may be some time.
  14. Regardless of whether or not we feature in the 4th Round we won’t be playing at Elland Rd on the 27th as they’re already through to the next round. Currently the plan is to play Leeds before the Cup round, on Wednesday 24th
