Cmon Wiz, People cannot compare ourselves and Wigan as the simple fact is Dave Whelan has pots of money!! Yes he hasnt gone overboard on spending but Wigans squad cost a hell of a lot more than ours does, dont forget apart from Ashton i dont think we have smashed the million mark on many occasions.       As regards Delia i have met the lady, who took the time on a cold winters night in February come to meet about a hundred of us northern canaries in Blackpool, shes warm friendly and definately loves this club, yes i agree her loyalty to Worthington maybe a matter of discussion but not her love of the club.     And Wiz take note there are 3,000 loyal fans going to cheer their team on 2moro inc me and my two lads, could you see Wigan doing the same if they were in our position they would be lucky to pull that in at home if they were where we are today. So cmon Wiz y not do yr bit and cheer the team on instead of endless negative posts!!  

IN MY EXPERIENCE AS A NORWICH FAN, THIS COULD ALSO MEAN MILLWALL,S FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON!   DOH

   Like most of you today i was at first baffled by our on loan ranger from Wigan David Wright, that was until a chance conversation with someone in my office who is related to the Crewe midfielder Kenny Lunt, it would appear that Dean Ashton and Mr Wright are best mates!      It has been noted that Deano has struggled to settle, could it be that Worthy has brought Wright in as very capable cover for right back and centre half, but also to help Mr Ashton feel a bit more at home, return of confidence of form maybe. Just a thought but i would be interested to see what you all think out there.

Good comments Wiz, What i have seen of Etuhu he,s a very good player, i think if we added a decent right winger to the equation then maybe the play-offs won`t just be a distant dream after all!

A bit more of your daily controversy eh Wiz, I think Hughes is genuine in his concern for fans and manager alike, but for once i agree it does seem to be part of the Carrow road publicity machine!!!  

Two excellent posts, the problems can certainly be attributed to such a small squad as when a handful of injuries occur players are being picked and there is no competition for places, i too had noticed when reading programmes home or away that everyone elses squad seemed to be between 5 and 10 players bigger than our own.  Certainly this season as we lost 9 players and gained only 6 , and the size of last yrs squad was small, there should have been at least 10 - 12 new players signed to give strength in depth and to push for immediate promotion back to the premiership, so do we blame the board or players greed, lets face it how many times have we lost out on a player because we try to get them on the cheap or dither about as someone else steps in, Cmon Delia, either replace Worthy or give him ample cash to go and buy in january!

Well done Pete what a superb article !!!  Everyone must read it, even 1st Wiz might agree!

Cardiff were relegation candidates at the beginning of the season and that was also the opinion of their own fans, its suprising what a couple of midfielders can do, koumas and ardley come in and suddenly Cardiff are on the verge of the play-offs!!

Nice post Budgie, i have been reading these boards for about two years, there are some excellent pieces on here and great humour but alas the moaning has increased fourfold this season, having said that if u had said to me at the beginning of the season that on November 1st we would be in the hideous position we are, i wouldnt have believed it!!  

Cmon jas why settle for a hamburger(worthy) when you could have steak ( ranieri) !

In reply to Wiz`s insults i have bn going since 1979 tho i suspect i am considerably younger than you as i wasnt born in 57, i also undertake a 544 mile round trip from North Wales to get to a home game! So please don`t doubt my commitment.   As regards what i feel about your negative comments, i too am doubting Worthys credentials at the moment but at what cost would it take to get rid of Worthy, maybe 1-2 million in compensation plus the cost of appointing a new manager, i certainly don`t have all the answers but im sure that boycotting the game 2moro night or abusing Delia at the AGM are not the answers to our current problems.   Personally i would like to see David Williams moved to assistant manager as that i think would be a positive step and maybe assist Worthy to turn things around, maybe he will do the decent thing and resign but lets hope its sooner rather than later, Burley or Ranieri would be more than welcome!!

Another moronic idea from the 1st Wizard !!

I observe the message boards regularly but rarely post any messages, but does 1st wizard ever post anything than nonsensical rubbish and has he ever watched our beloved NCFC?

I agree now Worthy has to go but if he is replaced just who is out there? Never thought i would say this but Burleys record with the binners was excellent, on little money he consistantly had them challenging in the right half, he then turned Derby around in a season and has also done wonders at Hearts. Maybe with David Williams as his assistant it could work, what do you guys think?

Firstly i am not a huge Worthy fan or any relation or a scummer, but i do read the message boards for transfer gossip and the like, but after reading posts on here from the beginning of the season i am starting to wonder if any of you go!    When we started the season with 3 home games all the debating was would we be top with 7 points or 9, but everyone seems to forget that being a relegated team from the prem we have been everyones cup final, if you add to that a relatively new midfield that is starting to find its feet and how much bad luck ?  We are creating chances, if we were not i would be agreeing with you all wholeheartedly, but a combination of woodwork, poor finishing, great goalkeeping and diabolical refereeing have not helped our case.   After relegation many thought the squad would break up but Green, Ashton, Hucks and Mckenzie are still here perhaps Francis being the only real blow, so well done to Worthy for hanging on to these fellas, some posts on here have bemoaned the loss of Helveg and jonsson, absolute garbage the pair of them, good riddance. So for now lets stay behind the team, i was there last nite and the support was superb, Huckerby was frustrated as he was badly fouled on the build up to their second goal and recieved no protection all nite, results will turn, but come xmas if they havent then maybe he shud go, but till then come on guys lay off the team and Worthy!!! 

I take your point but as a loyal fan who goes to games if you see a player who seems not to care playing for your team and is getting paid virtually for a week what some people only earn in a year then we do have a right to voice an opinion on a players performance or effort level   However in the case of Holt especially i have never doubted his commitment or effort but he is just not premiership standard, he can run but so can Paula Radcliffe, unfortunately the basics like passing and shooting seem to elude him. Whereas Francis does have the talent but doesnt look bothered thats what really irks me, i don`t slag players off at games but prefer to get behind the team but on things like this message board i think if u want to question a players commitment or ability then that is ok.                                                                                                      Tim
