  1. Great idea - I''ll certainly contribue or help if I can!
  2. Paul McVeigh training at Colney, Docherty leading Norwich to the Championship, influx of non - league players anticipated, three new players costing zilch, Bryan Gunn as manager, Delia still here.....clearly things are going from bad to worse and clearly the coming season will further establish the club vision of ''Prudence without Ambition''. Think I''m wrong? Wait and see!
  3. So typical of Archant; same angle from Anglia news who put a very rosy and positive spin on things. Talk about cosying up to Delia and ''head in the sand!!!!''
  4. The point is that as a result of the rubbish served up for the past four years and the gross mismanagement of the board I like many others claimed my rebate back as a protest against the total lack of ambition shown by the club. People like Seat0123 will be quite happy to see us playing non - league football as long as their beloved cronies on the board are still running things. The number claiming back their rebates are not just as a result of the recession but also a clear protest to the board that the majority of fans are still very unhappy at both past and current events at Carrow Road. If Foulger is disappointed in the percentage of rebates returned to the club''s coffers there''s nothing to stop him contributing the full amount that he would have contributed if 100% of fans had returned their rebates.
  5. Excellent post - I''ve experienced the same problem and can only assume the EDP are generally supportive of Delia and her board members. They condone her four years of failure and will continue to do so.
  6. If you thought the recent new signings in any way indicated a more ambitious approach by Delia ''Prudence'' Smith and co then think again! In the EDP today Butterworth is saying it will probably be unlikely that Norwich will hang on to its ''star'' players, so in other words the recent ''bargain basement'' signings are the sweetner for losing our so called ''better'' players. By the Colchester game Delia should have achieved her vision; an average team led by an average manager playing average football and maintaining mid table average form, if we''re lucky!
  7. In the EDP today the NCFC trust are again cosying up to their lovely old Delia, her past four years of totally inept leadership being instantly forgiven and swept under the carpet. Along with NCISA they really are most ineffective in representing the majority of fans, who are not so willing to forgive and forget the past four years of failure, or to back the current blueprint for further failure and demotion. Prudence and Gunny must be rubbing their hands in glee. Is it a fact that the majority of fans have now accepted that failure and lack of ambition is just part of the NCFC philosophy, and even if we drop to division 4 this will just be part of the natural development of our club? Looks like Prudence and her cronies are succeeding in leading fans into another season of prudence without ambition; good luck to Watford who unlike Norwich have appointed a manager who has worked hard for proper coaching qualifications and who has the fire and ambition to lead the club forward positively.
  8. Many thanks to the EDP for Monday''s copy which is a NCFC rumour free zone!
  9. I think you''ll find its for services to half - time entertainment!!
  10. I''ve thought it for a long time but its great to hear direct from Delia ''Prudence'' Smith that she is actually ''Batty''. Most of us fans have known this for many years. Also obvious that Prudence and Wynnie have erased the past four years of failure and mismanagement totally from their memory banks, and are excited about the future now that David McNally has been appointed to their world of goblins, fairies and trolls where everything is now going to be wonderful, and Delia will continue to watch NCFC whatever division they are playing in. Prudence and Wynnie are so full of the joys of spring that they have got the disappointments of the last four years completely out of their systems; Delia is like that you know....she comes bouncing back eager for lashings of extra prudence and lots and lots of daft antics to keep the opposition fans hooting with dirision, and the long - suffering home fans raging with dispair. Delias has no intention of leaving until NCFC is in the gutter, but in her make believe world that can''t possibly happen, and she might even make enough money from her cookery enterprises to purchase us lucky fans a new striker!!! It just gets better and better. Roll on the new season because the entertainment off the pitch is definately going to be premiership standard!!
  11. David McNally has the full backing and approval of Prudence Smith poor guy!! Prudence states that he also shares the AMBITION of the board!! You''ve got to give the guy a chance but approval by Prudence & Winnie? Oh dear.
  12. Fair post - good luck to him; he is in no way responsible for what has gone on at the club in the past.
  13. Surprise Surprise Norwich City''s transfer targets are now going elsewhere; whoever thought that a player would prefer MK Dons over NCFC....that would have been unthinkable during our promotion season but thats history and thanks to Prudence Smith and her cronies we are now a laughing stock, make no mistake about it. Still, take heart, Gunny is hoping to make his first signing by the end of the week, now who could that be, and will it actually happen?? Perhaps Bosnich is on his way? Now that would signal NCFC''s current status and ambitions (lack of) for the future.
  14. I appreciate its only paper talk but surely things haven''t become so desperate that we''re talking to hasbeens such as Bosnich!!?? There is certainly an eerie silence coming from the NCFC corridors of power, but whats new, communication with the fans has always been an issue for Prudence and adopted son Gunny. Meanwhile Crooky is sunning himself in Australia, and presumably Gunny is searching for free signings who can guarantee Division 3 football and hours of dour entertainment for the coming season. Yes I know I''m a negative ***********, but the previous four seasons have unfortunately turned me from optimistic to pessimistic, not something I''m comfortable with but unlike others I can''t just brush the past four years of mismanagement and ''prudence without ambition'' under the carpet. Why should they get away with it??
  15. Well done to Adam Aiken for exposing Foulger''s rebate offer for what it was, a shameless sham! If he wants to kindly contribute funding to the club thats great, but not on the basis that fans have to hand their rebates back first; why should they surrender hard earnt money only to see it squandered? Its a shame that Adam supports Gunn as manager, which indicates his judgement is not 100% regarding all NCFC issues!
  16. I know banana man - the truth really does hurt doesn''t it diddums....
  17. Delia ''Prudence'' Smith and her very best friends at the EDP will now start wheeling out cronies such as Rioch to assure us that Gunny has the ability and potential to ensure a rapid return to the Championship, but of course he will need time! How much time will the talented ex club ambassador and city sheriff require? Presumably enough time to drop a couple of more divisions and then carry out a major rebuilding exercise, starting with signings from the Anglian Combination. It is very encouraging that our new (well nearly) manager is recieving ringing endorsements from such powerful figures in the game, and that he has been so active and effective in bringing news faces to the club in the closed season. Obviously we can all look forward to dynamic and exciting times in Division 3!!!????
  18. For the first time I''ve had an opportunity of showing my disapproval of four years of total lack of ambition and mismanagement in a very practical way, and it feels very good indeed! I make no apology for claiming back what is rightfully mine, and would rather spend the £140 on myself than seeing it frittered away by Delia ''Prudence'' Smith or our second rate, inexperience and unqualified manager. Unlike some posters who still have their heads buried deeply in the sand and have accepted without a whimper the current demise of the club, I cannot and will not put a penny into the club until Smith and Gunn have gone. Rest assured we are going no where whilst the remnants of the management regime are still in place, and whilst we dither in the transfer market other clubs are very busy setting up deals and snapping up the players capable of regaining championship status. We are in the third tier of English football, and there are those supporters happy with the situation, and will accept relegation if it comes, which it inevitably will if the status quo remains.
  19. EDP are up to their ususal tricks filling the back pages with transfer gossip which very rarely come to fruition. I know thats what papers do but give us a break and only report confirmed transfer activity, what a refreshing change that would make! One final point, if Gunny wants unity then step down as manager and take Prudence Smith with him.
