Well I agree and disagree at the same time. OK I would like to see a creative midfielder but he would need to be able to battle (maybe Safri will come good) Right side have faith I am happy with Mcveigh and Jonson (trust me both will come good) Would still like Kenton but I think we have enough cover at the back. Doherty is a great utility player and will be priceless both at the back and up front but we need a goalscorer, Huckerby as I have said a million times is not a goalscorer. I think the squad is pretty good just need an out and out target man and we have reasonable cover in all areas. I''d go for harewood.

Ok so that great Premiership Heavyweight club Blackburn Rovers have agreed a paltry 2.5 Mil for his signing. Only had just over 23,000 for the first home game of the season. capacity 30,000. Would suggest they are in a similar position to us in terms of this season being a struggle. Will be laughing myself silly if they get relegated. Only have to wait till Nov 6th to give him some stick (unless he comes to his senses and realises Blackburn are not a big club they just had a sugar daddy for too long and now they are on the decline in a grim little northern town)

OK So maybe I wont make many friends with this but I was completely behind Worthy subbing Bentley. For me so for this season he has been a bit of a one trick pony (ok without his goal it could have been very different) I only recall the one good ball over the top to hucks on sat other than that it has been go for the spectacular. I guess Hucks was probably a bit like that when he was younger. These days he is much more of a team player which works well. Hucks isnt the greatest finisher In the world but he is a great player. go on worthy put him back on the left !

Consistancy is important when things are working well, sometimes things need to be changed to get them to function better. It is no big problem if any player is rested or dropped for an odd game it doesnt mean he is no longer in the managers plans as I said that is the whole purpose of the squad system. If we think we should just play 11 why have a squad !

I don''t recall any posts questioning Drurys play so far this season and would have ridiculed anyone else that said anything of the kind. If Helveg with all his experience can be half the player drury is then we will have no complaints.

This was destined to be a reply to the Gary holt not good enough thread but I thought I would post it as a general comment. Look chaps I think this is a bit unfair, Gary has given his all for the cause and will continue to do so, the fact he has had a couple of below par outings doesnt suddenly make him a poor player likewise Svennson and Indeed Jonson. All our players will have to play their part to keep us in the premier and the squad system is designed to rest players when they are not performing and bring in others . Yes drop these players to the bench and give others a chance but have no doubt that what goes around comes around and we are all in it together. They are just as likely to hit form and steer us to safety. Our Squad is made up of good players, I can say honestly hand on heart there is no dead wood. Everyone can do a job when called on. OTBC

Can you get this website sorted out ! Its up and Down like a brides nightie. It is without doubt the best Forum for Norwich fans (Without any of the infantile stuff that blights many of the other boards) which makes it even more frustrating when we cant get on ! So one more signing before the transfer window slams shut ? We have a number of forwards who on thier day can do a job I would not be unhappy to see any of them on the pitch Leon, Hucks, Mcveigh, perhaps even Jonson, Jarvis or Henderson. But only one Target man Svennson. Jarvis or Henderson may one day fulfill this role but are currently too light weight. Rumours Johanson = too similar to Jonson if he could do a job we should consider shuffling the pack we have. Harewood = certainly more suited to this role even though he couldnt get to play there with WH. Although rumoured price would be a non starter in my opinion. Allback = Again would offer a presence up front and his face doesnt seem to fit at Villa. Well I dont know the answer but I hope worthy can find it by next week, Svenson will be an important member of our squad this season but to try to go on without a natural replacement would be a big risk considering the transfer window. How about playing our other loan card ?

I Think the jury is out on Mr Svenson, but this is not the issue, I agree he is a key part of our squad and there is the rub of it. Yes he will have some good and some bad games but we cannot afford to have just one target man, maybe it was too early to let iwan go ?? Im sure Worthy will find the new Iwan for a bargain price !
