  1. https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/city-better-placed-to-handle-homegrown-quota-1846508 As well as being identified as a good player and only having to cover his wages(no loan fee), He was signed to boost the HG quota as there was a worry we may have lost, Krul, Aarons, Godfrey, Lewis and Cantwell.
  2. We haven’t. We’re covering his wages which equates to the million pound fee you’ve probably read in the media.
  3. You don’t have to pay a loan for for all players and we didn’t for Skipp. Which was why the deal was so appealing. Don’t believe it if you don’t want to.
  4. Because Skipp on loan for free was better than options below him in the academy and free transfers. Oh and added to the HG quota
  5. Well when not many clubs at Championship level where willing to take him and now he could potentially play 40+ games for club and country what’s he going to be worth in the summer? Probably a lot more than the media outlets quoted, which is peanuts to Spurs anyway.
  6. Hefty fee and recruitment under SW have never been in the same sentence since he’s been here. Why would we pay a hefty fee to develop a player for somebody else?
  7. Okay, We’ll you stick to listening to the media outlets or you can trust me on it was a free loan 🙂 Regarding Sorensen, Just because it was announced on the 20th of July that doesn’t mean the deal had been agreed for a while. It wouldn’t have been very smart of the club announcing signings while staff were on the furlough scheme would it?
  8. Skipp was signed because he was a free loan and to boost the number of HG players in the squad. Sorensen was going to be signed even if we stayed in the PL, as a starter.
  9. He was brought in as a starter but unfortunately got a knock and had a wasted international trip which gave Skipp the opportunity to grab and has done. He was coming in as a starter in either division as a centre midfielder, not as a versatile cover man.
  10. But he’s a different type to those two isn’t he? If he plays with one of them why would he have to “win the ball they way they do”
  11. Idah is a full Ireland international and scored goals in the first team already, I’d say he’s levels above Omotoye at the moment. Of course the pressure would be on, you’d have people on here moaning they hadn’t scored because “they regularly score at u23 level” Im not saying they shouldn’t be involved, just not thrown into it
  12. Patience is needed with those two, again another tough decision. We’re top of the league and throwing two kids straight in and piling expectations on them might not be right for their development. If they come in and don’t produce it’s a long way back to wind fans over if they eventually do become permanent first team players You wouldn’t put a trainee Spark into a situation where he had to do a full rewrire on his own only a week into the Job.
  13. How do you bring a player back into the fold you don’t trust? It’s not as easy as your making out. He won’t be match fit to start and why would he even want to when he can sit at home and be paid? He’s not going to come in and do us a favour, most likely sit on the bench for Pukki until Hugill and Idah are back fit and be not needed again.
  14. One that was looked at in Farkes first season extensively but not one in thoughts now.
  15. If he’d have come out saying the pair had been magnificent you’d have people on here criticising him. Ever just thought it was reverse psychology to get the absolute best out of them during these next weeks during the injury crisis?
  16. Right on the domestic, international tend to a have less than 50% starts clause and players can be recalled but differs when club have obligation to buy
  17. Yes, most of players has a recall clause for January. Their loan clubs only need 7 days notice
  18. It’s not Championship Manager. Have faith in the recruitment team. It’s not a reactive department
