  1. As I said yeah, Farke wanted some pace to go in behind out wide to have a different options to the technical/inverted wingers and Placheta’s pace stood out a mile on the data metrics. He also wanted a different type of striker to Pukki, hence bringing in Hugill. Ultimately Farke was the killer of both of them as he wanted different types of players for different scenarios/tactical changes but then wanted those players to just adapt to how the team played without changing his tactical Farke ball style.
  2. His biggest problem was actually Farke. He wanted a direct winger that could go in behind the full back as an alternative to Cantwell then in the opening games was coaching him to drop deep and receive into feet while the full back overlapped, something he’d not been used to in Poland. They’d made their mind up within the first few weeks he wasn’t the right fit as he “couldn’t play football”
  3. A midfielder playing in Switzerland was high on the priority list which the club wanted to do early in the window but have yet to agree a deal
  4. Just because it’s not online doesn’t mean things don’t happen or aren’t true. Jacob isn’t particularly a player that would get media attention anyway
  5. I think you misread what I said. I didn’t say linked to Bundesliga clubs, terms where agreed and offers where made. There’s a difference. The club will be renewing his deal but will allow him to leave in the summer for a small fee. So you can rest easy
  6. Championship quality? He had a move agreed to two Bundesliga clubs last summer and was assured by DW/SW he would get minutes so stayed. Farke also wanted him the season before when at Krasnodar. He also has a number of Championship keeping tabs on his situation. Not too bad for someone who isn’t Championship quality.
  7. Sort of, he was on a list with Ajer, Bournauw and Niakhate. Unfortunately priced out by the first three
  8. As I’ve said before on another thread, he was forced to sign a pro without his agent present on terms less that had been agreed with his agent beforehand. The club didn’t want it to escalate with the PFA so allowed him to leave for free with a sell on % to Chelski
  9. There are two Full time scouts that cover SA who cover all positions with support from Nisotaki and Dunn. The positional scouts only scout in Europe as you said firstly.
  10. This is the second season the club has been position specific scouting, so not a new thing this season. Matt Lewis was moved into the role to replace Tom Reeves who moved to Middlesbrough to reunite with Kieran Scott and Chris Jones.
  11. Nick had posted some tweets critical of the way the club was being ran that got back to SW and at the start of a press conference, Webber addressed him with “Alright Nick, gonna post some **** about me today then?” Not helped their relationship.
  12. I agree, we’ve had the best out of Kenny and 4m would have helped with a wages for say a Lewis O’Brien on loan to replace him
  13. I agree with you but then you get Todd saying they had no relationship and fans where saying he should 🤷🏻‍♂️
  14. The player was let go for free because he was forced to sign a new deal without his agent present for terms lower than what had been agreed. Before it got messy and escalated further to the PFA the club agreed to let him leave because of their wrongdoing.
  15. Webber only had a relationship with the leadership team, which Was Hanley, Tettey, Krul and Mclean. He left the other players to be managed by the manager, like they are supposed to be. McLean got the new contract because Leeds offered 4m and better wages, ball in players court to say I want an extra year and more money or I’m off.
  16. Those markets are covered by the club but just because Celtic sign players good enough to play in the SPL, doesn’t mean they are good enough to play in the Championship. Also, update yourself on the GBE rules 👍🏻
  17. He’s changed agent 3 times and pushed hard for a move but SW would not budge on his valuation.
  18. Kieran Scott’s return has been ruled out at the club. Mike Rigg is a likely replacement for Webber.
  19. McLean is pivotal to the managers plans in the middle, so much so that there is no plans to sign a CM the summer unless Sara is sold.
  20. Andy Hughes is the Loan manager as well as first team coach
  21. He’s currently earning 60k a week, not getting a game in a poor Everton side and more interested in his poor dress sense. We need better.
