  1. That's clearly the phrase you repeat to yourself endlessly every time you post, with no palpable effect.
  2. The Swiss spent 7 years negotiating a £227 bn trade deal that collapsed in significant part because of the EU's response to brexit, in particular its determination to protect the single market from third country cherry picking. I guess the Swiss aren't as happy with the UK as Swindo is with the Swiss. On a related note we can now expect our financial services industry to be well and truly fu*cked over in the coming negotiations. Even the Express seems to admit we're in for a hell of a beating: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/eu-tactics-stripped-bare-as-bloc-threatened-and-made-people-fear-their-english-identity/ar-AAKvgVy?ocid=msedgntp People in England believed their national identity was at threat from the EU, Express.co.uk was told. It comes as Brussels this week looked set to hurt the UK further after the European Central Bank (ECB) announced it was ramping up efforts to push management and capital out of the City of London and Canary Wharf and into the EU. The central banking authority plans to clamp-down on banks' key staff, capital and book trades used by EU-based clients not based outside the bloc. The ECB believes too many banks rely on their London units while serving clients across the EU, as a result evading regulatory scrutiny and oversight, according to Bloomberg. If successful, the EU's newest move could seriously harm the capital's vital banking sector that was previously thought to be safe. Nice one brexiteers!
  3. More accurately, a third lady (No doubt Boris is working on a fourth).
  4. New Zealand. BTW bozo, we ALL live in the world. Can we now have a table ranking countries by numbers of deaths, then ask the same question.
  5. Indeed! Let's be clear, RTB isn't remotely concerned with any of those possibilities, he's just disgusted at the thought that a black woman could be wealthy.
  6. Oh dear! How extremely dumb! You clearly don't understand how the law works do you! Perhaps you can find a primary school pupil to help you out.
  7. More Tory love-ins with despots and human rights abusers. Guess who invited a torturer this time: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/revealed-priti-patel-s-links-to-bahrain-minister-blamed-for-torture-of-political-prisoners/ar-AAKvB5Y?ocid=msedgntp
  8. Poor old Swindo finds the article confusing. It really couldn't be much more simple to understand; the breakdown of the Swiss EU deal demonstrated that the EU refuses to let non-EU countries cherry pick access to parts of the EU single market without sharing the costs of that access. Many brexiteers seem to have forgotten that our biggest area of trade, financial services, has yet to be negotiated. The evidence for the Swiss/EU deal breakdown suggests the EU will play hardball, and a FS deal will be even more difficult to achieve than the brexit deal negotiated to date. We are already aware that Frost admits the deal he signed was a disaster, now we face the prospect of an even greater disaster in negotiating an FS deal. As William Wallace might now say, "They can take our financial Services but they will never take our freedom". Cue our negotiating team, the Judean People's Front Crack Suicide Squad (Brian's final words are most fitting):
  9. hahaha! A year or so ago I tried to pay off a friend's council tax bill anonymously as I knew she faced a ccj and was struggling financially. South Norfolk Council told me I couldn't do it without her authorisation. Apparently there would have been no issue if she was PM of the UK.
  10. Now read this article which argues that the fall out from this bodes very ill for a financial services deal between the EU and UK. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/eu-talks-breakdown-signals-harsher-trade-climate-for-the-uk-after-brexit/ar-AAKtYpy?ocid=msedgntp
  11. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/boris-johnson-unaware-tory-donor-paid-part-of-flat-refurbishment-bill-report-finds/ar-AAKurcm?ocid=msedgntp What a whitewash! So it is now considered acceptable that the PRIME MINISTER of this country can ask a third party to find an anonymous individual/group/company to pay out hundreds of thousands of pounds to cover his bills. Johnson had no idea (and indeed no concern) where this money came from, which could have been a Russian mafia boss, property developer, etc, etc, etc. The potential for corruption of the PRIME MINISTER of the UK that this creates is obvious to the most simple of citizens. Under Johnson the reputation of this country for political integrity plunges day by day.
  12. A very simple question that even you should be capable of answering. Trump has several law suits and criminal investigations against him underway or pending, and has already been forced by a court order to return $2million misappropriated from charity donations: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-foundation-charity-lawsuit-settlement-payout-tax-a9241531.html Ever felt you've been duped, MAGA hat wearers?
  13. Is she being officially investigated for fraud like Donald?
  14. Beginning to think Nadine Dorries and Marjorie Taylor Greene were twins separated at birth.
  15. Jesus! You really do struggle to keep up don't you! It was you that said, "nobody has the right to impose their own legislation dynamically on third countries." Kirku simply pointed out the rather obvious point that the EU has not imposed anything on the Swiss, but made proposals that the Swiss are entirely within their rights to turn down. The stupidity of your claim about the EU "imposing" its rules on a third country is the point Kirku is making.
  16. Apparently Boris will tell Orban that he's a very naughty boy for his abuse of human rights, and his anti-semitic and Islamophobic comments. I expect Orban's response will go something like this: "Well Boris, we have so much in common: wasn't it you who described muslim women as letter boxes and bank robbers? Didn't you describe african children as having watermelon smiles? And wasn't it you who said the problem with Africa is not that it was once colonised by the British, but that it is no longer so?" I'm sure the racist, lying, bigots will get on like a house on fire. Although, Boris, no doubt, will be a bit jealous of Orban's despotic powers.
  17. WOW indeed! lucky boy!
  18. Oh dear! So very, very dumb! "The tenant Arabs refuse to pay rent and the case has gone to court. kind of what happens in the UK when there are commercial disputes. we tend not to fire over 3,000 missiles in an attempt to obstruct legal process." So, do we resolve disputes in the UK by using our armed forces to bomb and shoot to death the opposition? This dispute, like others before it, has resulted in a death ratio of at least 20 Palestinians to every Israeli death. "The only people who are the targets of the Israeli Defence Force are those that attack the sovereign state of Israel." It will come as news to many people that so many Palestinian women and children are responsible for launching missiles at Israel. Perhaps you should let the UN know what your sources are for this revelation. "One of the reasons why Palestine won't sign a peace treaty is because there are idiots in the west like you who act as apologists for the terrorists from the comfort of your armchair." Just swap "Israel" for "Palestine" and repeat this sentence aloud while you look in the mirror and for once you will be spot on.
  19. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/this-guy-is-a-disaster-gop-insiders-terrified-trump-s-rallies-are-going-to-derail-midterm-chances/ar-AAKsuMv?ocid=msedgdhp Republican Party insiders are worried that the return of Trump rallies is going to jeopardize the GOP's chances to take back control of Congress in the 2022 midterm elections. While going after Twitter and Facebook for banning former President Donald Trump from their platforms, Politico reports that Republicans are “privately relieved” that he no longer can use those platforms, even if that’s something they would never say in public. Mr Trump returning to the stump will give him a place to air his grievances and spread conspiracy theories on a bigger stage, including pushing his baseless lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him. GOP lawmakers want to move on and focus on criticising and thwarting the agenda of the Biden administration. A senior House Republican aide to a lawmaker considered to be a strong supporter of Mr Trump in Congress told Politico: “If we win the majority back in 17 months, it’s going to be in spite of Trump — not because of Trump.” “He will totally take credit if we win the House back — but it won’t be because of him. This guy is a disaster,” the GOP staffer said.
  20. Laughably naive from the Spectator which is publishing articles and comments it would have once been ashamed to associate with its name. Ask the Northern Irish, fishermen, farmers, dairy producers, SMEs, etc, etc, etc, just what they think of the deal achieved by Johnson after his threat to flounce out of talks. Even the chief negotiator Frost now admits the deal he signed up to is "unsustainable", ie. crap. I wonder if he imagined himself as William Wallace as he bleated "They'll never take our freedom" as he condemned swathes of businesses at the stroke of a pen. What a shame the UK no longer has the "might" to "pi*ss off" other countries who are now exploiting our pathetically weak and desperate negotiating position.
  21. Boris, just like his hero Trump, has a fondness for despots: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/boris-johnson-defends-rolling-out-the-red-carpet-for-right-wing-hungarian-autocrat-viktor-orbán/ar-AAKrygH?ocid=msedgntp Downing Street has defended Boris Johnson's decision to “roll out the red carpet” for right-wing autocrat Viktor Orbán. Hungary's authoritarian leader is to visit Downing Street today for talks with the prime minister – one of the first EU leaders to visit since Brexit. But the visit has been criticised by human rights groups, as well as Jewish and Muslim MPs, who questioned whether he was an appropriate guest of honour, given his targeting and scapegoating of minorities. At the helm of his far-right Fidesz party, Mr Orbán has centralised power in Hungary around himself and his allies, cracking down on civil society and monopolising the media. His government has also been accused of running antisemitic and Islamophobic hate campaigns, notably against Jewish philanthropist George Soros. Mr Orbán himself has decried “Muslim invaders”, described migrants as “a poison”, and said he wants to end liberal democracy.
