Nelson and R. Martin
matt crowhurst replied to InLambertWeTrust!'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
very good point Mr carrow and i think it needs to be mentioned that he was involved in both the goals today with a lovely pulled back cross for the first and then a good tackle and run and change of direction to spread the ball over to the left. was interesting after Holt scored that half the team celebrated with Otsem and Lambert was giving him praise from the side linesalso noticed that a lot of the time when Otsem gave the ball away he didn''t have many options available and when he was getting moaned at esp first half for passing the ball backwards he had no one else to pass to so surely its better to keep possession rather than just hoofing it forward like nelson? -
Ok, Ref marks out of 10 please....
matt crowhurst replied to AndyJR's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
im going to give him a 7 refreshing to see a ref let most things go rather than blow the bloody whistle all the time and although i cant comment on the offsides as didnt see properly apart from the Russell deflection which def was offside, its the linesman that gives them not the ref and he also gained a mark by giving a corner rather than a penalty after Otsem brought their man down although he did go down under the slightest of touchesas for the ''fouls'' on Holt have to agree witrh neil adams there and say holt certainly does make them look worse than they are and i would expect my centre half''s to do exactly what theirs where doing -
well i for one am hoping it snows loads and so the game gets called off as tomorrows game is the only one i cant make all season and if it is postponed i will be able to go to the rearranged one......every snow cloud and all of that [:D]

Southmapton Away in the Semi-Final of JPT
matt crowhurst replied to Canary Magic's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
they also showed Southampton v Charlton, so i think they show one per area, north and south so i would have thought ours was virtually guaranteed to be on -
Southmapton Away in the Semi-Final of JPT
matt crowhurst replied to Canary Magic's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
its not two legged this one, this one will be decided on the night and then the area final will be over two legs and then the final at Wembley -
As the title says, and apologies if mentioned before, but are the pens available online to watch?

and if im correct not one of them was for us!!!!!!!!!!!! -
from what i have seen dumic would be far too slow to play at RB tom, sorry Jen [:(]
-
* would NOT want
-
def not one of the worst of the loanees for attitude etc and would want him any where near the us again. would rather we signed culverhouse up to play there!!!!
-
well lambert has today stated that Smith wont be there as we miss him too much in midfield so the guessing games continue. could drury switch to right back as the more experienced out of him and wiggins?
-
would he change formation slightly and play 3 cb in doc, askou and nelson and then play drury and smith as wing backs?
-
How anyone can have a go at russell after amazes me, he was one of our best players and as for blaming semi for the winner now thats just a joke
-
Forster is a good keeper.
matt crowhurst replied to blahblahblah's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
i also thought he was to blame for the first goal. when the ball is inside the 6 yard box the keeper has to come and get it bot stand still -
perhaps swap Hughes and Russell around as Hughes likes taking the ball off the back
-
No wingers i would have thought John, Drury and Otsem pushing up with hughes holding
-
City: Forster, Otsemobor, Drury, Hughes, Holt (c), Doherty, Hoolahan, Martin, Lappin, Russell, Askou. Subs: Rudd (GK), Gill, Cureton, Adeyemi, McVeigh, Daley, McDonald.Smith the injured player?

Chant in Barclay
matt crowhurst replied to Go Wash Your Mouth Out Son's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Not very original though. How about the barclay and snakepit join in together for once and really get the ground rocking. Have to admit that i have been a bit dissappointed with the chants so far thgis season, nothing very origibal and why when the crowd is announced do we have to hear/sing "whats it like to see a crowd", muct be one of the most unoriginal chants ever!!!!! -
well cody hasnt proved that yet and i still think this is a season too early for him
