  1. I raise you Mattias Normanns shoulder. Played 5 times for his new club, out most of the season with shoulder injuries.
  2. Not sure I get your point? Is it that Austria may have huge disparities in wealth, opportunity and prosperity between the capital and the provinces and that's why they vote differently in the capital? If so, yes probably.
  3. Thing is though, he's actually a really good player with a good footballing brain, and shaping up to be a real leader on the pitch, I know that he probably had to leave here to begin to fulfil his potential, but he has always been better than Idah is now... its always been evident. Naturally people are going to look at Hugill and Idah and just think "WTF are these doing here", the Morris comparison is a bit lazy, but it makes sense in the respect that he is what a real Championship quality striker looks like. Chris Martin, Carlton Morris = real deal Ryan Jarvis, Adam Idah = duds
  4. Some of these European systems are complicated and result in some very strange alliances. Austria is a weird one. In their federal parliament (61 seats) they have a coalition with 31 seats in charge. That coalition consists of 5 Green Party members, and 26 from the right wing Austrian People's Party. However, one of the Green's is the president! Under the Federal council they have 9 state parliaments / legislatures, of which 6 are dominated by the Austrian People's Party. Only, their Greens do a pretty good job on the international arena of masking this. If it weren't for the much more liberal Vienna they'd dominate the federal council too. It isn't just the UK which sees the capital vote very differently to the provinces!
  5. And you should be thankful for that. Which socialist state has been a success? Cuba, Venezuala, the USSR, how many more failed states do we need to see before we realise that socialism simply doesn't work. The sweet spot is a mixed-market capitalist economic system, which is typified by the Nordic model. Well guess what... Norway wouldn't have elected Corbyn either, but probably would have quite liked Ed Miliband.
  6. Nope, EFL can't sanction any points deduction for Premier League.
  7. Haven't we pretty much permanently had 2 or 3 in the Scotland squad. Was Martin, Whittaker, Dorrans and Naismith at one point.
  8. I think its clear that my post is a little tongue in cheek, although support in London for independence rose from 5% to 11% after London voting overwhelmingly for 'remain', and the rest of the country voted for leave, so there definitely some fault lines there.
  9. Right, well I'd never said I was a royalist, so I'm glad you acknowledge that you are either strange or dense (there's a strong case for both).
  10. How on earth have you deduced that my post was support for the government, it was pointing out that Lineker is in a whole world of sh*t. So I have to suck off a serial tax avoider to show that I wouldn't mind a change in government? No thanks, but you rim who you want to. I'll happily vote tactically for the Lib Dems in my constituency (Labour have got no chance here, I live amongst the monied), I don't see where getting teabagged by a tax avoiding multi-millionaire Royalist named Gary with a creepy brother has to come into it, if somebody has told you that this is necessary then I'm afraid you may have been misled.
  11. The Conservatives need 10 years out of power. As Joe Lycett said, they are down to the dregs. However lets not forget that part of the reason they've had 13 years in power, almost 15 by the time they are out, is because for two elections we were being asked by the official opposition to vote for Dianne Abbott to be the home secretary, and to be frank I wouldn't trust her to watch my kids for 10 minutes.
  12. The first one is in Scotland, a completely different country, with its own separate Green Party. Adrian Ramsay, Carla Denyar and Caroline Lucas are in the Green Party of England and Wales, they have had nothing to do with the Scottish Greens since a split in 1990. The Surrey bin strike was resolved in half the time that the multiple Brighton bin strikes were, with a fair pay offer from a Conservative led council to end the stand off. Several times binmen have had to strike to try and get fair pay and conditions from a supposed progressive left leaning Green Party council. The morale of the story is.... if you want streets full of rubbish and rats and exploited underpaid refuse collectors, vote Green.
  13. What, no bin collections at all across an entire English city, for two or three weeks due to a local dispute on pay and conditions? Not that I know of, in England? Take it your question was rhetorical and you have got a few examples to hand? As silence would be a bit awkward now?
  14. This is what Brighton has looked like on several occasions with a Green run council...
  15. Which one? There's also.... Awks...
  16. I believe that inheritance tax should be abolished entirely like 48% of the population does. I pay tax on my income when I acquire it, if I save some money to pass onto my kids I don't see why that money should be taxed twice, especially if its then going to be used to pay hotel bills for Albanians. Of course, anybody with any brain cells uses the 7 year gift rule, or FICs (family investment companies) anyway. There are smarter ways to tax wealth, a land value tax has always made far more sense, and that definitely wouldn't be good news to the Royals. But as it happens I'm a Republican, can't stand the royals, and would remove the £86.3m sovereign grant and leave them to stand on their own two feet. Unlike Gary Lineker OBE, stop trying to play him off against his mates in the tax dodging club, he's been to Highgrove as a guest of Charles plenty of times, he's a celebrity ambassador of The f*cking Prince's Trust. You are such a strange man, you make some very odd choices when selecting the people that you hold up as paragon's of virtue. ps.... https://international-adviser.com/ingenious-suffers-court-defeat-against-hmrc-over-film-schemes/ Awks... Uh oh....
  17. If that legislation wasn't created they'd still not pay any inheritance tax as she'd have passed it down more than 7 years before she died, just like most other people in the country. Wait until you find out that the inheritance tax bill on the whole £650m would have been enough to pay the channel migrant hotel bill for a whopping 26 days.
  18. That was just the first 5 years, the 5 year plan. We're in year 6 now, huge regression and wasting a fortune was always part of the 10 year plan, it was just top secret.
  19. Full time students should be taken out of the immigration figures. Let's face it, they are here as customers of UK plc, plus our education system relies on the dosh.
  20. The one Green controlled council in the UK has ended up with rubbish piled on the streets on several occasions, ironically.
  21. So we want free speech for BBC presenters, but censorship for pinkun posters?
  22. Sure, but the land now known ad Jordan was the bulk of Palestine, Jordanians are Palestians... so Jordan should take Palestinian refugees.
  23. I'm firmly of the belief that if Burnley had appointed Dean Smith they would be about 9th.
