Lupoli looked extremely exciting today, and I''m sure he will get us 15-20 goals this season. We don''t need a big man necessarily, just a quality, proven player at this level or better. Step up Shola I think...

Croft will be out as soon as Bell is fit. He tries hard and is a nice guy, the disappointment on his face when he scuffed the oportunity was plain to see. He just doesn''t make the grade.

Shackell was very good today, as was the whole defence generally. Would happily see him play there again in Berties abscence.

We have a lot of options at the back now, and quality as well as quantity. We all know what Bertrand can do, Omozusi is one of the best up and coming English talents around, and at centre back I''d have happily played one of Shax and The Doc at the back. As it stands, I don''t see either of them playing on the first day of the season. Maybe Shax, now he is challenged for his place, will show us the form that made him IMO our best defender in the Premiership season. Or maybe he''ll end up at Kings Lynn. Either way, it''s just the strikers we need to worry about now. I still think Ameobi is coming [:)]
