  1. Would like to see Vrancic on the field. I always feel he brings that something extra during a game.
  2. I agree with this. As it is with players and managers who succeed in the Championship and struggle to find their stride in the Premier League, so too, do Owners struggle in their own way.
  3. Wow. You use this term like it’s a matter of finding loose change in the sofa! And what, in you opinion, is a ‘given bit of investment?’ Because if it were that easy, all we’d have to do is pass around the hat, right?
  4. With a quarter of the season already done, 3 points is actually quite important. Looking at the table, there is happening the beginnings of being cut adrift at the bottom.
  5. There you go again, Big Socialist Diddley Squat, throwing your toys out of your pram because Delia isn’t running the club the way you want it run. Your comments of Webber do nothing but demonstrate your short sightedness. Webber wishing to strengthen the infrastructure of the club is a smart, long term strategy which you clearly struggle to grasp. The players will always come and go. The structure of the club must be sound in order to survive the inevitable change of introducing a super league. At that time the majority of the money gained from television will probably drop to that of the Championship and a lot of clubs will struggle and fold. Not NCFC. As for your comments on Chase, I believe NCFC won the Championship last season with style and currently play an attractive brand of football under Delia, Webber and Farke. My hope for you Big Diddley is that eventually you will come to the realization of your place in the grand scheme of things, as that of a spectator. Nothing more. Not to worry. There’s no shame in that. Unfortunately, you being a socialist at heart, imagine that given the stewardship of the club, you would do better. But you have demonstrated from your previous ramblings that if you were given charge of NCFC, you would probably suffer from serious bouts of pant wetting - more so than you already do- and lead the club to failure inside two seasons. My other guess is your current state of affairs reflects this fact and you satisfy your frustrations with petty, mindless comments here and probably elsewhere. How sad. On the other hand, Delia is living a life of success and responsibility. She has the resources and the passion to do what she feels is best for her business investment and the fans. She is the steward of a club that is being positioned to not only survive, but thrive within a sustainable business model. And if she wants to sell a few players and pocket a few pounds....she’s allowed to....it’s her business. Wait, have I been waisting my time calling out an Ipswich fan?
  6. You should be careful Big D before you have an aneurism. Nothing tests the patience more than sifting through the mental drivel of someone who is in the throws of a tantrum. And, once you’ve caught your breath, please post a link to the football club OWNER’S manual where it states that a football club operates for the fans. Okay, let me see if I can make the bread crumbs small enough so you don’t choke before your ‘aha’ moment. First, I really enjoy eating in 2nd & 3rd generation, family run restaurants. The same, if not more so is true with vineyards. And do you know what? The customers (fans of the food and wine) keep going back to eat and drink more. Why? Because they like it. My point being, you’re not making sense when it comes to talking about how a business should be run. Second, it is my understanding that the Premier League and the Football league operate in what is referred to as a ‘capitalism’ system. Do you know what that is, or should I ask Oxford again? I ask because you do that thing that foolish people do when the validity of their logic and talking points are shown to be false; you ignore the new details and continue with your self-reinforcing idiocy. Anyway, capitalism, so, it may come as a shock to you, but in a capitalist society MONEY comes first. Yes, you need fans (customers) but the Delia isn’t going to die broke trying to keep NCFC in the Premier League. Get it? Also, Carrow road is virtually full EVERY week, with a strong traveling support (shout out to you folks), so my guess is Delia is running her business, the way she wants to. AND....NCFC are playing some phenomenally attractive football. We fans (customers) have the choice to spend our money (financial incremental investment for the exchange of goods or services) with the club at the level we are each capable and comfortable with. (At this time I will not break down the dynamics of the emotional and time commitments, since those are different forms of ‘exchange’.) So, fans (customers) CHOOSE to spend their money at NCFC, because they ENJOY it. Get it? No? Okay. So if YOU are not enjoying it... Thus endith the short version. Why only the short version? Because I’ve learned that you can’t explain to stupid. Do you actually think Delia is a charity case? She’s a successful and rich business women who has created something that she is able to pass down to the next generation of her family. If you can’t respect that, then I would hazard a guess that it is in fact you, Big Diddley Squat, that is the socialist at heart. Go on, search your feelings....it’s okay to admit that you have socialist and communist tendencies and to come out of your closet. After all, thou dost seem to protest too much! Go on Little Rocket Man, own it..... The silver lining here is that your arrogance is a beacon to the younger generation of what not to become.
  7. Big Dudley, sounds like your envy is getting the better of you again. From a book credited to someone called, Oxford...;) Socialism: “A political and economic theory of social organizations which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.” Maybe you mean ‘Marxism’ which “is a transitional social state between the overthrow of Capitalism and the realization of Communism.” - again, from the good book of Oxford. So, following your logic, Delia is therefore working to realize a state of Communism? So, working with your fragmented emotional conjecture which has done nothing but demonstrate your lack of understanding in your use of words, Communism means: ”A political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.” Please do share how you see this happening at the club....... As for the ‘dictatorship’ aspect of your Dudley drivel, which means, “absolute authority in any sphere”, Delia is the majority shareholder and owns the business, which is something your ego and mind clearly struggles to accept. So, please, before you attempt to bulldoze your tripe into other people’s worlds, just check yourself. Otherwise you do nothing but look a fool. P. S. - I think it’s awesome that Delia & Michael are is a position to create a legacy for her family. Are you able to do that, or do you waist your time and energy moaning about what you don’t have?
  8. I agree with this. Reading through a number of posts it seems that there are a handful of ‘supporters’ who have exchanged their sense of appreciation for entitlement. Some, dare I say, even give the impression that they should be sharing their wisdom in the boardroom, because they ‘know’ how the club should be run. While others, seem to enjoy the idea of spending other people’s money on ‘their’ club. It’s a game. It’s a form of entertainment. Yes as fans we get passionate. We get excited. We get engaged. And, being a NCFC fans, just like any other group of fans, we get disappointed. It’s all part of the ‘game’. That’s what made winning the Championship last year so damn sweet! I mean, honestly, who saw that coming?! Yet there are some who have already ‘moved on’ to bigger goals, like playing in Europe and challenging for the title. That’s fantastic. That’s what it means to be a fan. But being realistic is part of maintaining a healthy approach to this Beautiful game.
  9. I know...but that’s no excuse to listen to idiots. I’m truly fascinated by how stupid people like Big Dudley can get when they start ranting on about topics they don’t really understand.
  10. Agreed, but the money will follow the viewership ratings. So, if the Super League happens, we’ll probably drop to a Championship level of TV revenue.
  11. Really? Besides cross pollinating two conversations, which I understand can easily happen in a butterfly brain such as yours, I could have sworn that when I watched NCFC in the Championship last season, there were 10 other players on the field that did very fine job of moving the ball around and creating goal scoring opportunities. You did see that, yes? BV’s Grade: C- must try harder.
  12. It always makes me laugh to read your comments, BV. You remind me of Dudley. “Well last year, last year I had 36 gifts.” You are the master at counter-point conversation and are always ready to share your down-hearted thoughts of your reality; which you are welcome to do. That’s the beauty of this thing called life. However, it seems your biggest problem is that you wish to impose your reality upon others in a realm where your voice is worth nothing. Yes on the message board you can cause a stir and you get an ego kick out of it, but in the grown-up world, nobody takes a single ounce of notice of what you have to say, and I’m sorry (not) that this frustrates you to no end. Your continuing mantra of “It’s not happening the way I want it happen.” wreaks of being a spoilt princess. It’s not your club. Suck it up, Buttercup.
  13. Really? Oh I’d enjoy reading your response outlining the irony! But alas, I feel such a response would only embarrass you further. Allow me to break it down for you in five simple steps. 1. Sit back down. 2. Stop your whining. 3. Enjoy the football. 4. Let the OWNERS run the club. 5. Repeat. If you find these simple steps difficult to follow, then I recommend seeing a therapist who can help you recognize what you are really upset about in your life.
  14. Exactly. King Canary has forgotten his place in the grand footballing scheme of things.
  15. I’m sorry. Can you remind me what seat you fill in the executive suit again? Oh, that’s right, you don’t have one. Can you remind me how many NCFC shares you hold? Thought so. And one more, can you remind me again the list of investors you have lined up to plan an aggressive take over of NCFC? That’s right. Breathe. Breathe. Take deep breaths as you come to the realization that you have NO control or influence in this particular situation. So sit back down and let the grown-ups figure it out. If you struggle with this, I recommend approaching the owner of the company you work for and telling him or her that in order for the company to move up in the ranks of competitive business, they need to spend about 100,000,000 pounds that they don’t have. If they say no, ask them to leave. See how that goes. If someone could help me understand why the universe keeps creating these self-centered, sense of entitled idiots, I’d appreciate it.
  16. Oh please..... Of course the owners and the club are not the same thing. You and your house are not the same thing. You and your car are not the same thing. But you own them and YOU can do whatever you want with them, laws be damned, if YOU choose. The funny thing is, if your neighbour came by and said, “I don’t think you’re looking after your house the way I’d like it to be looked after. I think you should sell it to someone who will.” You would say............ My point exactly. It’s not YOUR club. It’s not your business. So take a breath, relax and enjoy it for what it is, or move on.
  17. Dear Jim.......dear, dear Jim. Oh dear.
  18. Why is it laughable? If you don’t like a TV channel, change it. If you don’t like a particular type of food, don’t eat it. If you don’t like the club, leave. Your psychology reflects the signs of someone who has suffered abuse for so long, that you’ve forgotten you have a choice to get out of you don’t like it. It makes me laugh when people get so wrapped around the axle that they forgot their place. Football is a business of ENTERTAINMENT. If you don’t like the show...........
  19. You mean to say that there are people out there who believe that businesses should be operating beyond their means of operational revenue? And how long before that collapses in on itself?
  20. Is this for real? This rabbit hole again? Good Lord, give me strength. Moan and complain all you want. You’re free to do so. End of the day, it’s not your business. Please explain what you actually believe gives you the right to tell someone else how to run THEIR business? Oh wait, you’re a FAN - supposedly - and you give your hard earned money to the club for tickets or subscription, or replica kits...whatever. Next. You’re as stupid as someone who chooses to eat at a restaurant time and time again, where you don’t like the owners. Why do you come back? Oh wait...bitchswitch fans are stupid like that. The level of stupidity you have demonstrated shows you have no chance in seeing how arrogant you are. if you don’t like it, go buy or build your own club.
  21. Easy bro. It might time to talk with your doctor about adult diapers, or at the very least, absorbency pads.
  22. 7 points for me would keep a buoyancy about our season. 5 points would be ‘expected’. Anything less and I’ll feel we lack consistency. More than 7 points and I’ll start drinking the crazy-aid with the flavor of a top five finish.
