1.
To be fair Jerome offers more as a team player then Mbokani. He will be invaluable to us in the championship, I''m just worried the season has destroyed his confidence for next season. We all know what he can do in the second tier. The mistake was by the club selling Grabban and not buying a better strike in the window like Afobe
Yes, because Mbokani won''t be here as he''s far more capable of a top division team.
 2.
After today Neil should just say to Mbokan ... the striker position is yours just go out as you have already proved yourself. Or perhaps we should just chuck Lafferty up there and pray for a fairytale finale?
3.
Mbokani would have buried at least 2 of the chances Jerome has spurned over the last 2 games
yep.
 4.

Unbelievably unmissable offside, but AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA RYAN BENNETT!!!!
Do one binboy
There there champ, it will be ok :tussleshair:
 5. Unbelievably unmissable offside, but AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA RYAN BENNETT!!!!
 6.
we are playingone of the top 10 sides in europehave some perspective
AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH We most certainly aren''t, champ. This is hilarious.
 7. Pinto is a horrific horrific defender as a RB or even a RWB. Bennett is statuesque and has already been beaten like a mule on 4 separate occasions. However, WHY ISN''T RYAN BENNETT GETTING A CHANCE???????
 8. THE DEFENSE IS SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER WITH RYAN BENNETT!!!!!!! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh the widespread moronicism here is fantastic.
 9. The amount of mental incompetence in this thread is astounding... T''s J aside.
 10.
Just seen the goal again... Don''t mean to be nitpicking, but Bennett has to be more aware about who''s around him in that situation.
He was simply atrocious all game long, hopefully the pathetic pining for him will stop.
 11.

We''re always worse off without Bassong. Hopefully we change that today.
no we arent, hes got a mistake or two in him every single gameproof is in the pudding ;)
HOLY S--- THE STUPID!
 12.
Yet another soft goal given away. It was wonderful to see Martin stand and watch the goal scorer move into position rather than attempt to put a challenge in on him. Mind you the ball shouldn''t have got through in the first place. Goodness knows how Jerome managed to head wide in the first half. It must take hours of practice on the training ground to display skills like that. Going down with the City Dear oh dear what a pity!
That goal wasn''t on Martin, champ. Fully Klose and Bennett''s fault. They were both FAR worse than Martin the entire game.
 13. Hopefully this will stop the incredibly mentally incompetent to stop whining about Ryan Bennett. He was putrid today, and not even remotely close to the first time this season. Also Klose is looking like the CB equivalent of Hooper and Van Wolfswinkel. These are not good things, need Bassong back and fast.
 14.
What amuses me about the Bennett thing is that people always used to talk him up as a "Composed, ball playing defender with pace". Now we''ve signed a supposed footballing defender in Klose all of a sudden people are talking Bennett up as a "Good, old fashioned blocker".
Yes, that is highly amusing. The other thing that amuses me is PEOPLE THINK HE HASN''T HAD A CHANCE. Which is just hilarious, or PEOPLE THINK HE''S GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY IN THE PL; also hilarious.
 15.
Allardyce''s managerial nouse will comfortably keep Sunderland up. Newcastle''s quality will keep them up. So the question is not whether we''d rather be in the situation of either Sunderland or Newcastle (I think the answer to that is yes) but whether you think both Bournemouth and Swansea are worse than us. Unfortunately, I think the answer to that is no but if there is a glimmer of hope it is to be found in these teams and not those from the northeast.
HOLY S--- THE STUPID!
 16. He''s definitely a good footballer with some real strengths in his composure and ability with the ball on his feet. He''s also definitely a traffic cone along the lines of Michael Turner.
 17.
I saw the tweet too. Something is awry for Bennett not to be in the squad. Clearly Archant must know something and aren''t saying because Bennett isn''t brilliant, but he''s the best CB we have. Playing three CB''s would not be a bad thing either.
HOLY S--- THE STUPID!
 18. Reactionary post, yes. 8 would probably be the number. Teams will probably come in low with 5-6 Mill bids to test resolve. As much as I don''t rate him anywhere as much as others, as I''ve said other times I can understand the desire a middle-bottom PL team would want to have him as a rotation player. Those come at a premium, so yes 8 mill wouldn''t be surprising. Or 8 mill from a top Champ team (where honestly I think he''d do really well at until promoted to PL)
 19.
Well, once we are confirmed down, he will no doubt be the first to leave the club, its just a matter of how much we get for him. He was always going to go at some point, the summer looks the perfect time.
We''ll be lucky to get 3.
 20.
Having said that, Klose looked to have been fouled in the run up to their first. !
Nope, just fell to the ground after getting stripped and beaten like a donkey.
 21. Klose is DEFINITELY not the answer. He''s getting beaten like a mule on the level of Michael Turner, and that''s f''ing horrible. Bennett/Bassong might be the best option and that''s horrifying. Looks as much a disaster as RVW.
 22.
A good time for them to be taking their eye off the ball. They are by no means safe.
They''ve been horrific all year, it isn''t just now. That''s a team that is actually worse than we are, now their luck ran out.
 23. Add to the fact that HOOPER DIDN''T SCORE 8 PL GOALS the year we got relegated, it was really a up there in truly the "truly special" category in a place that excels with those takes.
 24.
He''s scored 4 in 15, not 20+ games. Villa was probably his worst game for us; he was outjumped by Lescott & caught offside more times in that game than the rest combined. Even so he looked the most likely to score - he had a shot cleared & only the defender blocking with his arm (unintentionally) stopped him scoring from a tight angle on the follow up. He was blatantly hauled down in the area following a cross from the left. I think he may be getting jaded. I wouldn''t mind seeing what Bamford could do if started, although I have my doubts; it''s not quality but his determination that concerns me.
Hooper didn''t "score double" than what Mbokani has in 17 more games. Mbokani has also already surpassed Hooper''s goal from play total too, that post (not yours) was amazingly ridiculously stupid.
 25.
Sneering derision doth not a rational argument make. You have made no attempt to refute any of my points. And I would say that Mbokani indeed has similar qualities to Ashton & Holt - three players with the same ingredients, but different quantities thereof. He will never be a club hero - he''s on loan, he can''t speak English, & he''s about fro being a Norwich lad as it''s possible to be. But as someone to lead the line he is invaluable to us (Jerome, our next best bet, has scored 3 in 22 vs. Dieumerci''s 4 in 15).
Tip for you: Trying to have a discussion with unbridled stupidity isn''t really a rational thing either. It''s fun for a laugh though.
