1. Why does everything nowadays need to be seen through a narrow tabloid focus. It''s all hero to zero, black and white. Life is not like that. Neil is neither the messiah nor Brian but somwhere in between. Enjoy the ups and downs, there will be lots but FFS stop being walking, talking Sky sports hysterical sensationalists where everybody is eithe on cloud 9 or down in the doldrums Rudyard Kipling wrote If in the Kate 19th century and hthe words below are as true today as they ere then If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; Blah, blah, blah and then And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son. So take a step back, stop the hysterical nonsense, keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs and in early May the premier league will be yours. And whilst I''m at it how many times do you hear managers saying they are devastated. . Devastation is a family bereavement of a natural disaster not losing a football match.
2. Suspect the purchase of Andreu might have been a parting gift from AN to Accies. To help them out on top of the compensation for the boss and Mad Frankie. Wouldn''t be surprised if he''s soon back out there on loan as not getting a look in here, especially if the Dorrans thing becomes permanent in the summer.

His defence will play out the mitigation of nightclub/ girl was willing/ had no reason to believe she was under age and there is a reasonable chance this will see him acquitted. If the girl has gone to the press to make money, etc this will also weigh in his favour as it will cast doubts on her character. Alternatively if he met her in uniform outside of school then that''s an entirely different scenario. The truth will out , for now it''s mere conjecture. but in the meantime Sunderland, already in the midst of a relegation scrap, will be without one of their most influential players.
If he did have sex with the girl then his best hope would be a quick guilty plea and get a good brief to offer mitigation. I don''t think he has a hope in hell of winning if he takes it to trial.
Depends where it goes to trial. Some unexpected jury verdicts where footballers are concerned over the past 10-15 years which it would be inappropriate to name as they were acquitted in spite of, on occasions, compelling evidence.

5. Division 2 sides. Honk Man Utd were also in Division 2 with us that year, the year after Dennis Law relegated them with the back heel for Man City. U.S., Villa and Utd all went back up
6. I remember watching highlights of it on match of the week with Gerry Harrison on the Sunday. My first game was the 3-2 win against Arsenal in 1974 - the kate Terry Anderson played a blinder on the wing, but my dad wasn''t able yo get tickets , eithe that or that was what he said as we rarely if ever travelled outside of Norfolk anyway.
7. No need for that. You might find views like this to be mildly amusing but taken to its natural inclusion it ends up with people being thrown off buildings by ISIS
8. Middle top is colin Sullivan who played left back in late 70s .
9. That was submitted a bit earlier tan intended! What I was going in to say was that it s rare that youth team players go on to make the first team at prem/championship level. It might be in his interest to go elsewhere to find his level. He seems as if he has his head screwed on the right way and with hard work may make a living out of the professional game even if it''s not with us. At the moment even the Murphy brothers haven''t kicked on. Best of luck to the boy.
10. Yes he was the captains the cup winning youth team. However it''s rare that youth team l
11. Lee. Siince Villa need rescuing perhaps Andy and Scott can come up with the Marshall Plan (you might have to google it if you''re not an historian)
12. Big John. No problem with you airing your opinion, that''s what these forums are for. This was my first post. Interesting to gauge the varied responses to it but I stick with my original gripe that a grown man, albeit a rabid canaries fan, can act in such a childish, brown nosing, gushing fashion when speaking with, or referring to, past players. The benefits of maturity and experience enable the rose tinted specs to come off and look at the world from a more balanced and objective viewpoint. Butler should be able to do that and hé can''t
13. Does this sycophant actually get paid for hosting Canary call or is it just a hobby, a bit like hospital radio. Not only is he poor in the extreme as a presenter (that whole bassong walking across the pitch debacle) but he also acts like a love struck teenager when interacting with anyone who has ever pulled on the yellow shirt. Constantly referring to ex players as legends is the sort of juvenile, sycophantic behaviour you''d expect from someone collecting panini stickers. Daryll Russell seemed embarassed by his antics . It''s about time someone with a maturity beyond the age of 12 was given the job. Butler , they are just ex footballers, treat them accordingly and stop making a t*t of yourself or, if you can''t manage that then put your autograph book away and go down the local park for a kick about.
