SwindonCanary 457 Posted October 4, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekTDGSBB5S8&feature=em-share_video_userI''ve just found this TV Ad, featuring Kevin Keelan, the write up under it says =A classic American television commerical for Lipton Iced Tea, featuring members of the North American Soccer League''s New England Tea Men (who, as the name might imply, were owned by Lipton). The commerical features the incomparable Kevin Keelan, who starred with Aston Villa, Stockport County, Wrexham and Norwich City before joining the Boston-based Tea Men in 1978, when his was named a first team NASL all-star. "The Cat" played three years in New England before finishing his career with Tampa Bay in 1981. Keelan posted 22 clean sheets and a 1.55 goals against average in his NASL career. The lone American with a speaking part is Trenton, NJ born striker Kevin Welsh, who managed only three goals in a 93 game NASL career with Hartford Bicentennials and New England (1975-80). He did manage to earn one cap for the U.S.in 1975.Peter Carr (ex-Hartlepool) has the other speaking part.
