Brum Uni Canary 0 Posted August 23, 2005 2-0!!!! Pleased for Yeovil....their FA Cup run last year was pretty good for them. Having said that, I''d have preferred Ipswich to win because it would mean they have to concentrate slightly less on the league and play more games. This is why we shouldn''t be too bothered about cup runs as clearly the league is way more important, especially given our current league position.

MadDan 0 Posted August 23, 2005 Poor old scum.Wouldn''t have made much of an impression on their new ''investor''. Ground barely a third full. Their bunch of aged rejects and callow youth being swept away by a team who are bottom of the league below them.Allows them to concentrate on their relegation battle. If you think I''m kidding wait till November.Binmen may well be playing Yeovil again next season - twice
Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted August 24, 2005
does this really matter at the moment?
No not really but it does give us something to smile about and also puts into perspective our win against MK Dons! Playing against a lower league side is never straightforward in the cup and getting a result is the most important thing! It''s good to see we''re not the only team who slip up against underdogs!!
