"Watford reject second Deeney bid

Watford have rejected a second bid from Leicester City for striker Troy Deeney, according to the Watford Observer. Deeney is a reported target for Burnley,  West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City and Swansea City.

Leicester City had their initial £6.5 million bid rejected yesterday,

and if reports are to be believed the Hornets have now rejected a

second bid, believed to be around £7.5 million. A bidding war could be

set to ensue with Burnley, West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City and

Swansea City all desperate to land their man."

Can''t really see this happening, unless Hooper and RVW are definitely on the way out.

You know that might just not be the worst idea. I don''t think we need Deeney, RvW, Hooper, Lafferty and Grabban though especially when we''d also still have Loza, Morris and then Redmond and the murphys that can also do a job up top. That would be like 9 names competing for 1 or 2 places!

It really wouldn''t surprise me if Hooper leaves.

Initially I would''ve put my money on RVW, but after Adams recent comments I just can''t see it happening.

When interviewed 2/3 days ago Harry Redknapp stated he was working around the clock to bring in an unnamed "English Forward". Perhaps i''m just putting 2+2 together but with the constant links between QPR and Hoops, I can''t see who else it would be?

Deeney wouldn''t be a half bad replacement though!
