Guest Posted March 8, 2014 Ricky seems to be improving strength wise, but he still seems to go down just a little easily in my opinion. That said there were definitely 3 raised arms into his face which were certainly not penalised, and on another day likely would have been.Meet the new Stoke, same as the old Stoke. chicken 0 Posted March 8, 2014 I''d say worse.Having seen Hughes influence as a player and manager over the years dirty play is one of his styles.I remember him scything down a young Darrel Russell deliberately and thuggishly because Russell had him in his pocket all game.Hughes'' Blackburn were not exactly ''nice''. Maybe a bit different at Man City. One thing I never understand is how Bowen can put up with that type of football, it''s not what he practiced as a player with us that is for sure.
