NCFC TIll I die 0 Posted March 9, 2013 Done nothing again just like the Everton game where it took over the amount of time added on to score same again today minus a goal was hardly touched and fell over to get a penalty which he then missed no doubt would have giving us all 3 points
Morisons Prozac 0 Posted March 9, 2013 He is seriously being a tw@t lately. His game was summed up in a minute where he put an awful cross in for Kamara that went nowhere near him who he then had a go at, to turn around and have a go at Howson for some other reason. The bloke is being a pr!ck and needs a few games on the bench to sort himself out.
AJ 1,359 Posted March 9, 2013 I would start Becchio, he looked good and stays more central than Holt has in the games he''s played. Not sure I''d start Kamara or not though
percy varco 253 Posted March 9, 2013 Drop him from the team and do not put him on the bench. Perhaps that will wake him up. ORIs it time for some Pastoral care as his family are now living away? Put him on the bench and use him as an impact player but also help him with his off field situation. Perhaps he needs to feel valued by Hoots and his staff
GJP 79 Posted March 9, 2013
. His game was summed up in a minute where he put an awful cross in for Kamara that went nowhere near him
Was that the one he fired across the face of goal? If so that was actually probably the best thing he did all game, he put a little too much on it but it was still a good ball. It was everything else about his performance that was terrible. ZLF 335 Posted March 10, 2013 He was lucky not to get a red card, the pen he got was an embarrassing dive. He did probably deserve on in the first half, but it too would have been a soft one, seen them not given more than an awarded - rightly or wrongly. And like others I no longer has 100% confidence he would score from the spot kick - listening to boruc after the game it seems holt has become predictable He is not showing teh same movement or drive that we love - snoddys cross in teh second half was well defended by their japanese centre half but grant simply slid in across the path o fthe ball, in teh past he would have attacked the near post to get across the face of teh defender, he could never score from the position he took up. His lack of drive is shown in the number of touches he had - just 11 in teh first half and 18 in teh second, those total include his kick off and penalty. In context Kei and Wes had far more despite having significantly less pitch time. It was the same last week - he is just less involved.Grant holt without the drive committment and passion is not half the player. we need to find his mojo for him if he cant find it himself.
