smooth 114 Posted November 17, 2012 Have to say don''t think I have seen a group like this in yellow and green in decades.Ruddy is looking strong, big and now a real presence.Whittaker, bassong, turner and garrido utter class... Even at the awful reading game the groups understanding was very good and very strong. They really are looking excellent. Bassong is looking like that defensive leader we have needed, turner is looking experienced and playing at a very high standard... Garrido is making that left full back position his own and I hope we can pin him here as other clubs may see his ability.Whittaker is bringing that winning mentality that a former rangers would bring and a solid nature. These individuals and defensive structures at playing at a very high level.
CDMullins 498 Posted November 17, 2012 I think you have to add BJ and Tettey into there aswell
4th floor 4 Posted November 17, 2012 It''s amazing considering the back four weren''t even here last season and have only played together a short while. I think Russell Martin and Marc Tierney will have to accept the role of backups, I can''t see either dislodging the incumbents bar illness/injury, suspension or a dramatic loss of form. Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted November 18, 2012 I have just seen 1p5wich at Leicester. They are what I would call monumental. The defence were like statues, the goalie was like ''The Angel of the North.'' The midfield was like Stonehenge and the forward line was like a couple of Victorian follys. No doubt the atmosphere at their next home game will be like a graveyard.
