City 2nd 193 Posted October 1, 2012 Confidence is a big concern for Norwich City manager Chris Hughton: pink n headline.Why is he surprised at this: the man who has talked up every club we have played in competition this season which I do not understand, the man who talks about Wes being brilliant at Newcastle - and then drops him, the man who in consecutive games takes off our brightest striker in Jackon, the man who against Liverpool having taken off a striker for a striker, then takes off his original striker for a midfielder (and please don''t tell me it was damage limitation), the man who after the Fulham debacle dropped Turner for the next game (and he wasn''t even on the bench) yet reinstates him to play against Liverpool, the man who let a talented centre half leave for Forest for a season, the man who recognised we needed a striker when we signed a Spurs youngster who could not make Spurs first team on a regular basis, and who had little experience, and yet let Vaughan (who scored 3 goals pre season, more than any other city player) leave.The man who has taken a over a group of players who scored regularly last season, and played attractive high tempo football, making them dull, lifeless and devoid of ideas with a defensive frailty we have not seen the like off for 3+ years. I am certainly not surprised, and I will not be surprised when we get relegated if the NCFC board allows this to continue. Hughton was not the right choice for this club, just as Rioch, Hamilton, Grant, Roeder and Gunn were not. It is not just two games, it is since Hughton started, just look at the pre season stats, the games and his wheeling and dealing - the players are not the only ones drained of confidence! The guy completely lacks any inspiratinal qualities. He talks up every team we play before and after the game! His line up saturday was awful. Absolutely clueless. He''s as wet as a fishes wet bits.
