Well done again Mr Bump. The stats will show that overall we had a very good week this week but we still needed a cool head to put it all together. 47 PUPs picked over the weekend with 42 correct making a win percentage of 89%. Between us we gave Mr Bump 17 options with 12 being correct making a win percentage of 71%. The difference between the two percentages is because it was international weekend. As I said earlier all 9 international selections were correct but only 3/8 other games were successful for us.

Sorry buddy. They did beat them but it was AET the winner being scored in the 116th minute. I know it probably seems petty but this has happened before and we went with the 90 minutes score. Had the game been included in the final six the result would have been counted as a draw.

GMF, just to amplify Nutty''s point, this is not something that was just decided arbitrarily but rather is the rule of the bookies that the bets are placed with as to whether or not we have a winner, so it was decided long since, as Nutty indicated, that this was the fairest way for us to apply it to ourselves.

Hard Luck GMF, I had the same thing happen to me on the last week of last season. I picked Llanelli in the Welsh Cup. They won but only AET and that relegated me from the "Fab 40"[:@][:''(]

To be honest guys, I only looked up the result and hadn''t seen a match report, so I''d completely missed that fact that it was 2-1 after extra time.

 

I''m aware that bookies take the result after 90 minutes as standard practice for cup games, so, although somewhat disappointed, I have no problem with the decision.
