No NCFC boys in Eire friedlies squad

Despite Hughton''s appoinmtment no Norwich players in the Eire squad. Probably a good thing as keeps the boys working closely together.

Has Pilkington told Ireland he doesn''t want to play for them? Hoping he might get an England call up?

If not, why on earth isn''t he in the squad? Someone said he was the top Irish goal scorer in the Premiership last season, not sure if thats true or not. But he was great last season, scores and sets up loads. And he''s young. And he fits into their system. So why isn''t he in the squad? At least there are a couple of kind of justifiable reasons for Hoolahan not being in the squad.

Can understand not including Hoolahan due to his age, but how Pilkington hasn''t been called cup is a mystery. He definitely was the top Irish scorer in the Prem last year, I find it incredible he hasn''t been called up

not forgetting a stpid injury could be season over. so I wouldn''t a player pulling out of friendlies

Every paper I''ve picked up over here today has a piece hammering Trapatoni about this, I mean a dog in the street can tell you how bad our squad is plus a couple of sports writers are mentioning Mad Mark T. aswell.
