shefcanary 2,956 Posted July 20, 2012 Despite Hughton''s appoinmtment no Norwich players in the Eire squad. Probably a good thing as keeps the boys working closely together. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7919669/Trio-return-for-Republic
Gingerpele 0 Posted July 20, 2012 Has Pilkington told Ireland he doesn''t want to play for them? Hoping he might get an England call up?If not, why on earth isn''t he in the squad? Someone said he was the top Irish goal scorer in the Premiership last season, not sure if thats true or not. But he was great last season, scores and sets up loads. And he''s young. And he fits into their system. So why isn''t he in the squad? At least there are a couple of kind of justifiable reasons for Hoolahan not being in the squad. AJ 1,359 Posted July 20, 2012 Can understand not including Hoolahan due to his age, but how Pilkington hasn''t been called cup is a mystery. He definitely was the top Irish scorer in the Prem last year, I find it incredible he hasn''t been called up
Phillip J Fry 0 Posted July 20, 2012 I don''t want Pilkington to be called up, as he should be pushing for the England squad.
Bill 1,788 Posted July 20, 2012 Good we pay their wage and they should be concentrating on City, not being distracted by pointless Mickey Mouse football you will see how many others do their best to get out of such nonsense by supposed injuries
Gingerpele 0 Posted July 20, 2012 But it shouldn''t be that way City1st, I find it very disappointing fans, and seemingly some players have that attitude.

Twitchy 0 Posted July 21, 2012 Every paper I''ve picked up over here today has a piece hammering Trapatoni about this, I mean a dog in the street can tell you how bad our squad is plus a couple of sports writers are mentioning Mad Mark T. aswell.
