Northern Canary 0 Posted April 4, 2005 if he put in Charlton/Doc, Helveg and Safri from now on: would there be enough time to make a miracle come back?
Jim Smith 2,610 Posted April 4, 2005 Probably not as he has left it two months too late to change things as always. We probably need 5 wins from our last 7 games to have a chance of staying up and that is extremely unlikely. However we might be able to play with a bit of fire and regain some semblance of pride out of this wretched season. If things do improve however it will also be immensely frustrating as it will simply confirm what a lot of fans have been saying for many weeks now about his team selections and leave us wondering what might have been. BedsCanary 0 Posted April 4, 2005
if he put in Charlton/Doc, Helveg and Safri from now on: would there be enough time to make a miracle come back?
And you think playing Charlton, Doherty, Safri and Helveg who have all been cosistantly bad this season (with the exception of Charlie) will cause a miraculous comeback do you... dream on. We need a Manager 0 Posted April 4, 2005 No it wont save us , but if we could just put in one or two half decent performances it may stop us looking the complete laughing stock we are right now.

They can''t be much worse than those who are currently in the line-up..
Yellow Rider 0 Posted April 4, 2005 Beds. Canary!!You must be the joker in the pack mate. To say that Safri, Docherty and Helveg ''have been consistently bad'' is pretty incredible. Both Safri and Helveg have been consistently IGNORED by the manager and only reappeared in the team over Christmas when he had no other options left due to injuries! The truth is we simply don''t know whether they would be better than the present incumbents due to the managers blinkered obsession with keeping faith with same players. As for The Doc, I think he was doing ok at the back - he certainly looked better than the bald donkey who plays week in, week out! He never inspired great confidence on the deck as he looked slow but I can''t recall many strikers steaming past him. In the air there is absolutely no question who is better when comparing him with the bald donkey!

Or would you rather Worthy accepted the fact that City are down and try to make some adjustments to pick an 11 who deserve a City shirt for next season? The reason so many posters are complaining about Worthy is his reluctance to change even when so many off the field see that something is wrong. I can only assume that you believe that everything is right on the field and there is nothing that needs to be changed. If that is NOT the case then would it be possible that you could suggest why you think all these "whingers" are so very wrong.
