Haven''t they just sacked Chiles and Bleakley because nobody watches it anyway?
ABC (A Basingstoke Canary) 26 Posted December 21, 2011
All they seem to be saying is Wolves this Wolves that, it`s a bit irritating..
I for one am delighted - the more "attraction" Norwich gets, the more pressure. We don''t have any premiership "big names", we don''t have any premiership "characters" (players or management), therefore, from a news perspective we are boring. Added to which, we are making their "experts" with all their predictions of Norwich being the "banker to go down", look stupid, so they would rather not highlight that fact. I don''t think you would find any pundit who would ever have put Norwich in the top half by Christmas - therefore, their next best thing is to try and pretend Norwich don''t exist. The only time that Norwich will hit the spotlight is if we go on an amazing run and comprehensively beat all the top teams, or if we start regularly losing. However, I don''t think either of these options will transpire. Therefore, we will not be in the headlights - and so long as we stay in the top half, long may it continue. I can understand some peoples frustration - you feel proud of what Norwich has achieved, and it''s only natural to want to bask in the plaudits that the media should be showering on us. Nevertheless, if by staying out of the limelight means taking the pressure off the team, leaving us in a top 10 finish for the season, then I will continue to appreciate the sterling work that the incompetent media are doing by ignoring us! William Darby 0 Posted December 21, 2011 It''s because we don''t fit the agenda of certain areas of the media. Why? It''s because they''d have to explain how an unfancied side is. Top half on a relatively shoe string budget and scoring so many goals with headers, while basically using lower league players. Far too hard...It''s easier to ignore and report relegation battles, unrest at certain clubs and banned players.
