Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted December 6, 2011 Okay, last Saturday was cr@p but the football world isn''t ridiculing us because numerous sides have had hidings and many fear one coming up.Some of us moaned about our play while others strove to defend the indefensible (or undefendable or unable to defend) whatever. The fact is it is almost Wednesday and it''s time to look forward to an absolute belter of a home game against one of the great footballing clubs and sets of fans. This could be the huge marquee win we need. And what incentive to win: we could go 8th in the Premier League, we could be almost half way to safety points with first half games to spare; the side would be lifted going into two away games in which they have a genuine chance to compete and I just feel the whole Club would be lifted and given a sense of being back on course.A draw wouldn''t be too shabby and a defeat, provided we actually compete this time, will do no more harm than build a little pressure. That means we simply have to go for it, play a high line, compress the play, play OUR way and include our skill players and two strikers from the off. The atmosphere, I predict, will be fantastic.Paul Lambert and the players will have been working on moving on for days now. We are fans and so it is our perogative to analyse, moan and speculate but, we are not playing to survive this Saturday, we are actually playing to really launch our season because we have done enough so far to be in a position to do so.Let''s show the manager and players some belief and encouragement, we have to get used to knowing success without strings of positive results but picking up results where we can and so far, West Brom excepted, we have done just that. This is a bigger fish within our gift to catch if we have the passion, drive and commitment to do so and that needs to feed from the stands to the players. So, who''s up for it!?
