Barclay hero 0 Posted August 30, 2011 We''re only allowed 2 loans at any one time and 4 in total over the course of the season. So unless we send either Naughton or DeLaet back to their parent clubs then the answer is no we wont get one on loan. I think we''ll go with Rudd on Sunday week, possibly with either Steer recalled or possibly even one of the academy kids as backup
CDMullins 446 Posted August 30, 2011 I thought it was only 2 loans from Premier League clubs, meaning we could go aborad or down the divisions?
Badger 2,412 Posted August 30, 2011 Could we borrow Fraser F?
San Miguel 0 Posted August 30, 2011 I thought the rule was 5 players on loan at any one time, only 2 of which from the same league. So i think we could look at the Championship or other leagues...
HillsboroughCanary 0 Posted August 30, 2011 Remi Matthews played for the reserves this evening. Cameo performance on the bench against WBA?He''s under 21, so doesn''t need to be listed in the 25 - just needs a squad number...Doesn''t he?Ben
Gingerpele 0 Posted August 30, 2011 If Lambert thinks Rudd is good enough back up (which he clearly does) then its a case of risk it for one game, not really much of a risk. Keepers don''t often get injured/sent off. Or waste money on a keeper we don''t need. If Ruddy or Rudd were to get injured long term, then yes i would expect another GK to come in, but not just because of a one game suspension. And the 5 loans at one time, 2 from same league. That''s a lower division rule, Prem have there own rules.
