G 0 Posted August 21, 2011 Agree with everything there, nice article. Referees have a tough time in the Premier League with players diving left, right and centre so maybe Holt will win more freekicks than ever beings as referees give fouls so easy at this level. shiplee15 0 Posted August 21, 2011 Agreed with all of that until the point about Chrissy Martin. Thought he was poor. He was flat-footed most of the time, didn''t show much movement, didn''t seem too interested until the last 20 or so minutes. Was delighted to see Simo come on. Don''t get me wrong, I like Chrissy and hope he does well here but i would expect to see him play much better than that to hold down a starting spot!

Jim Smith 2,610 Posted August 22, 2011 Mostly agree other than:1. Bit soon to be writing Hoolahan off. he was our best player last week and personally i think we could have done with him at times yesterday in the second half as is is one of the few midfielders we have who retains possession. He will still play a bit part this season.2. perhaps we should wait until he''s played more than 1 game before declaring Johnson our best summer signing, particularly as de Laet, bennett and pilkington all look potentiallyu excellent.3. Ayala lost his man for their goal.
