CaptnCanary 0 Posted August 8, 2011 All those 3-2''s won with 90th minute goals too eh Paul? You''re certainly expecting an entertaining start to the season! Hope those predictions are right.
paul moy 235 Posted August 8, 2011 Yup, they''re going to be tough games and we''ll have to score a lot to win as I think we will be caught out a few times defensively, but we do have the ammunition and team spirit... expect late winners. We couldn''t have hoped for a better run of games to start the season, except Chelski of course. Bolton have lost two players with broken legs already, and Stoke play in Europa Cup only two days before we meet them.

Power Hamster 0 Posted August 8, 2011 While I would love to see us get 10 points from the first 5 games, a more realistic scenario would be:Wigan A 2-2 DStoke H 2-1WChelsea A 0-2 LWest Brom H 1-1 DBolton A 1-3 LWe have a lot of new players to get settled into the squad, and as in the last 2 seasons, I think we will start slowly and pick up as the season progresses and the players get to know each other. However, we will comfortably escape relegation, finishing up on about 45 pts, something like 13th or 14th position. Just don''t expect miracles right from the beginning - they will come later
