If we make it to the league with the unmentionable name - I won''t utter it until all is done and dusted - do any of you think that PL will take the attitude that this excellent City team has earned the right to have a go and therefore there will be very few additions to what we already have? Sorry if this has been discussed in recent days/weeks but I don''t have too much time to read and/or post on here - I have my body armour on in case!

I would think, and I may be biased, that the current squad we have isn''t far off being good enough to hold its own in the Prem. For me perhaps one more quality centre back and a striker and we wouldn''t be far off.

Regardless of what happens I hope we only sign quality players who are young and as yet unproven in the top division...we had too many high earning journey men in the past and we need to ensure that if people do move we can get some value for them. Either way I do think a couple of wingers would be god addtions, it would provide us with another option when needed.

I''m with Morty on this. Don''t see any reason why we would need to make a number of changes. Can''t see Ward or Whitbread sadly being solid enough for an entire season in the promised land, however someone to partner Barnett and I think we''ll be ok. Likewise someone to partner Holt will see us alright I believe...

Look at the changes from last season to this season and that will tell you that although Lambert will say publicly how fantastic our current players have done, he won''t be afraid of making additions to the squad.
