The lack of width other than our fullbacks is too easily countered, especially when we want to retain possession and control games at home.

But Andrew Crofts isn''t really a goal scoring midfielder is he? His best strengths are to tackle and break up attacks and start up attacks for us, which mean, CDM is his best position, his goals are just a pure bonus

Fox looks like a ''watercarrier'' type, happy to sit and take the ball off the defence and get the ball ticking over, also always shows for the easy pass.

Crofts up and down the pitch box to box and being decent at both roles is something we''ve needed for years.

I reckon he''ll be our next captain, with Elliot Ward vice captain.

Because he is helping the defence very well, and getting goals aswell. He is breaking up play, passing well and being energetic, and has 4 goals.. Yet you want to change his position? Lambert is manager for a reason. [:)]

In the games he has scored, therefore he hasnt been playing in the CDM position, we have conceded 9 goals in the 4 games. Which on average, is 2.25 goals/game. In the rest of the games, in which he has been playing CDM mainly, weve conceded 11 goals in  11 league games, which is 1 goal/game conceded on average! So, I prefer him in a more defensive role!
