funny old game 1 Posted February 2, 2005 Yet again we flatter to decive played, well missed endless (6)chances than fall to a sloppy goal caused as a direct result of our inability to compete in the air at the back. cruel game, no chance of staying up now

funny old game 1 Posted February 3, 2005
ok then. you give up. Im not
Its time to wake up mate & get real, not all this "perhaps if we all go around telling each other its not going to happen then it wont" bit like the story of the kings new clothes.I, like you love my team, i will be renewing my season ticket later this month & am already looking forward to us challenging for the title come may 2006. Blind optumisum is the stuff of fools, Im merely being realistic,we''ll see who''s right shortly but i doubt you''ll be rushing down the bookies
shropshire canary 0 Posted February 3, 2005 I think the difference of opinion is based on the fact that most fans don''t want to admit failure until it actually happens, and that is perfectly acceptable an emotion. Good job Winston Churchill was a bit like that a few decades back!It does not mean it''s blind optimism, more a desire to succeed that is so strong that it keeps on going till the very end - a bit like the team did against Middlesborough, and how I for one hope they do until the end of the season, otherwise we may as well all pack up and wait until mid August. We may well go down, but stranger escapes have happened so keep on going for it boys. If we get 3 pts on saturday then we''re still in there with a fighting chance, and if they keep playing like they did last night then we''ll definitely have a chance. No point in giving up hope yet, but if we don''t get 3 pts on sat then it could well be it. Keep the faith, OTBC

If another club was in that position would anyone hold out much hope for them? I don''t think so.
funny old game 1 Posted February 3, 2005 Perhaps I was a little depressive, just gets u down when we work so hard only to give it away with poor finishing or sloppy defending my apologies to anyone i may have upset,
