USA Canary 7 Posted March 19, 2010 Does anyone know where the best place to park your car in Swindon for the match?
Matt Juler 211 Posted March 19, 2010 For the JPT match earlier in the season we parked in the cricket club, just beyond the Country Ground from the Magic Roundabout.
SwindonCanary 457 Posted March 19, 2010 With local knowledge, I would generally tell people to park in the town center as it''s only a short walk, but if you are looking for a quick get away try parking in the local roads, Shrivenham Road if your there early. Do not park in Tesco''s (2 hour limit) but if you go to the Tesco''s roundabout you can park in the doctors surgery (it''s closed) and is popular with Swindon supporters, on the same roundabout is the ''Sweet Briar Fields'' housing estate, loads of roads to park there.Hope this helps. Trent Canary 0 Posted March 19, 2010 Is the park and ride at Wroughton any good? That was my plan..
NCFCaaron 0 Posted March 19, 2010 for the JTP game i parked at tescos which is just around the corner
SwindonCanary 457 Posted March 19, 2010 I wouldn''t go to the trouble of the park and ride as there''s a lot more options.Greenbridge is a good call, but it is about a miles walk, you can grab something to eat there as well - McD''s, Pizza hut, Frankie& Bennies ect.Really looking forward to this, it''s my only ''home'' fixture of the season !
