[/quote]I don''t know to be honest, not sure if you get regional news on the ITV player.Its interesting, to say the least. And about as plausible and likely as anything we have heard, rumour wise before.I''d suspect things may be going on behind closed doors and a lot would depend on us actually being promoted.

If Fernandes is the only one willing to put the money in to own the club, then he''s the only choice out of the two.Although i''d be concerned given the current prosperity of the present reigime, and the elements that come alongside change, i''d happily welcome Fernandes.If your arguing numbers, $220m against $20m or so? I know which i''d choose.

Who says he''s worth £1.7bn? One buy-in on his company valued the company at £1.7bn, at the peak of the insurance market, but realised cash of a lot less than that. And since then, the insurance market has changed dramatically.

Mr Fernandes certainly sounded like he could be interested in buying us, he may only be worth 140 million quid himself but he''s probably got loads of wealthy Malaysian friends who could get involved with him. Seems like a nice bloke as well.

At the time of the cullen thing i was working at Delia''s house , she told me how frustrating it was that although it was all over the news he never actually made any contact with the club , but as a shareholder she couldn''t come right and tell the press the truth . I beleved her at the time and still do .
