We need to see McNamee - or we can't sign him...

Not because of his ability, although i haven''t seen that yet, but because of his record. He''s never managed to consistently stay fit and has always struggled to complete 90 mins. If he can prove otherwise, and he''s good enough, fine.

But if he doesn''t get to play between now and the end of his loan, i don''t want to risk another Rivers. Although i always liked old Rivo! What''s he up to these days, did he stay in these parts?

On those stats, no, but I do trust Lambert''s judgement completely A1, time as they say will sort it out.

Lambert is obviously watching him training and feels that he isn''t worth of place in the first XI. I fail to see how breaking up the team or letting us fans see him in action is in the best interests of the club, we have employed Lambo to do that job and I trust his judgement, end of.

Is taking a player on loan who you never use in the best interests of the club?

Is it in the best interests of the club to then buy a player who still won''t play or get fit enough to play for PL?

Don''t get me wrong, i have faith in Lambert an is suspect he isn''t playing him because he isn''t up to scratch enough for Lambert''s liking.

So what i''m basically saying is we shouldn''t therefore sign him. And i don''t think we will.

It''s obviously a done deal and the loan was just to get some cover in until January and get him off Swindon''s books, where he clearly didn''t want to be.

Have you seen every single player we''ve ever signed play before he signs? I think not. Lambert knows what he is doing and what he''s getting, and there is a long way to go yet.

Here in Swindon the fans are glad to see the back of him, as he started off  with them ''on fire'' but he tends to be too inconsistent, in fact they would rather have Tudor-Jones back than McNamee !
