we8wba 0 Posted November 19, 2008 About 2yrs now he been in chargescunthorpe were top when laws left and atkins managed to keep them at the top of the leauge for entire season which remarkable with the squad he had and the experience he has (previously a physio)you have to remember in january they sold one of their better players in andrew keogh and stayed top of the league in the summer they sold their other star in billy sharp and was unable to convince leeds to let beckford goso not ideal preparations to stay up in our league and gave it good push with one weakiest thinest squads in the leaguebut then he has re-built his squad and has them flying again in league 1 with next to no budget good manager, but not sure he will do well in a pressure job while at scunthorpe there isnt to much pressure i wouldnt of thought Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
