Kolin Kob 0 Posted September 22, 2008 What would your team be for this weekend, assuming that none of our injured players return to the fold for Saturday. For me, it would be:MarshallOtsemobor Grounds Omozusi DruryCroft Russell Fotheringham Bertrand Sibierski CuretonSubs: Hoolahan, Nelson, Koroma, Archibald-Henville, ChadwickBertrand played well at the weekend, so Hoolahan may have to bide his time. Cureton also did well from the bench, so deserves to be in the team. It would be a fairly strong line-up, if a little defensive, but if we weren''t showing enough attacking threat by half-time, we''d have attacking options to bring on from the bench. I think this team shows that the present squad that Roeder has assembled has significant strength in depth.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted September 22, 2008 Stefanovic is near certain to return though
hailtothechimp 0 Posted September 22, 2008 Chadwick? That''s a name I haven''t heard in a long, long time.Handy on the bench though as could play up front if needs be.

Kolin Kob 0 Posted September 23, 2008 If we do have that many injuries, Chadwick probably will be on the bench, and I hope he is too.
GJP 79 Posted September 23, 2008 MarshySemmy Omosuzi Stefanovic DruryCroft Rusty Fozzie Hoolahan Sibierski Lupoli As much as I think Ryan Bertrand is a really classy player I don''t actually think he''s played particularly well lately, not by his standards anyways so I''d leave him out. Having said that, I wouldn''t be disappointed if he was in the team.

GJP 79 Posted September 23, 2008
Two attacking wingers away people? Really? Even if they are bottom that''s suicide.
That has crossed my mind but as we all know this is very much a league where anybody can beat anybody else. And teams come to Carrow Road and beat us so why shouldn''t we go away from home and set out to beat them?Confidence should be high after the weekend and with Barnsley struggling I think we should go in for the kill.
Oh I''m for going Barnsley for the kill, we''re more than capable. But we''re not Man Utd yet!Defence still needs to be the priority away, but keep some pacey players in for the counter, alongside your stronger midfield. Personally I''d like to see Hoolahan play a Huckerby-esque free role behind Sibierski? Wes has the skills and Sibby has the class to read him. Anybody? In my opinion Crofty stays in the team because of his excellent performance against Sheff Utd and I thought Wes looked lively when he came on so I''d have him in as well.I''d also like to keep Lupoli in the team (if he''s fit) as I think he looks to be our most dangerous player. And obviously Sibierski has gotta be in there. Lupoli as an impact sub on 60 mins to prove his point with a late goal, should we be typical Norwich and struggle away to a lesser side.
