lack of ambition

Recommended Posts

the lack of ambition comes to back to our promotion to prem when we got promoted we spent little a and hoped to stay up and then relegation was always going to happen . since then we had 3 seasons of underacheivement and very little hope of things changeing i. my point is the board r happy as long as season tickets r sold in good numbers and the ship can carry on slowly and the way things r going it will stop theres just no ambition or limited until theres a sea change things will get worse .

Full fathom five thy Father lies, Of his bones are Corrall made: Those are pearles that were his eies, Nothing of him that doth fade, But doth suffer a Sea-change Into something rich & strange Sea-Nymphs hourly ring his knell. Harke now I heare them, ding-dong, bell.

Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris

We can tell you''ve not been here long son.  Welcome aboard, theres plenty of room for anyone with a bit of wedge to give away.

Norwich are a selling club and unless PC completes the takeover (which is looking less and less likely each day) we always will be.  There is never any money in the pot, i dunno where it all goes, but fact is, its gone.

So dig your hand in your pocket, buy your season ticket, buy your 2 new shirts, book your canary holiday, xmas party at delias, have your ncfc credit card, or just give whatever you can.

We may be the best supporters in the land, but probably some of the most gullible and poorly treated supporters.

Chin up, it starts again in 5 weeks and i cant wait...

99% of football clubs are selling clubs, i don''t have a problem with this if we replace them with good quality young players with potential. unfortunetley we replaced ours with journeymen with little or no potential profit, hence the value of the squad has droped year by year ( fifteen tears ago we had a few players worth over a million, today ? )

Report in the news of the world sunday where Arsene Wenger said Arsenal are a selling club too, so it isnt just us.  Where we have gone wrong in recent seasons is buying poorly i.e players with no potential or sell on value.  The only way you can get ahead in our shoes is by buying cheap and selling expensive, similar to what we did with Dean Ashton.

Where we need to improve is in the buying, what we also need to do is when we do sell at a substantial profit is reinvest a significant chunk of the money into 1 or 2 players whose vale can also increase.  Then when we sell them we can buy 1 top drawer and 2 low cost potential boys.  We will always need to sell to survive but if you can play the game right it can work.
