The Chirp 0 Posted May 16, 2008 i was deeply saddened by this news... he seemed a good man and i know his family must have gone through hell... i, like tommy did, have skin cancer (in remission now thankfully) ... i just hope his death brings to peoples attention how important it is to look after yourself... missing in action? 0 Posted May 17, 2008 Mr celtic,he played more than 500 games for celtic,scored 82? goalsmanaged celtic to the 1995 scottish cup final.also managed at reading and worked at newcastle and in the international setup.returned to celtic as a reserve and youth coach before being promoted to first team coachyou will rarely find a better person in football. someone with the passion and skill to survive.a legend who will be dearly missedRIP tommy.
