H4H 0 Posted February 19, 2008 To all you who think Huckerby is past it and should leave at the end of the season are crazy, delusional and naive!!! I have nothing but respect for Hucks!!! He came to this club and turned it around!!! Even if he has lost a bit of pace he still run circles around 80% of championships defence!!!! He is a quality professional and he should see his career out at Carrow rd!!!! Every club needs experience and that’s what Hucks and Dion bring!!! Darren I thank you for all you have done at the club!!! I will never forget Watford away!!!! As for those who are having a go at Roder and his tactics – please, the man has worked miracles at the club since he arrived!!! A lot of you are very short sighted; 3 months ago we were rock bottom staring relegation in the face!!! GR has turned that around......... he has been fantastic!!! His signings have been first class. A fantastic manager and good guy!!! As for Delia....... what can I say, Norwich is a great football club, and Delia is to thank for that, she has the passion and the drive that any football club envies!! I am proud she owns our club; I am proud to be part of Delia’s barmy army!!!! Norwich is a small club, but a great club!!!!!!!!

Yellow Rider 0 Posted February 20, 2008 I can only think this a complete and utter wind up from a poster who clearly loves their exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!The bit about The Cook certainly succeeded in winding me up. The great FA Cup run of ''59, promotion in ''72, 75'', ''82 and ''86, Wembley in ''73, ''75 and ''85, finishing 3rd in the first year of The Premier League and then the UEFA Cup season in ''93/''94 were all absolutely nothing whatsover to do with the celebrity chef - FACT! Since she has been here we have had the promotion season of 2003/2004 for which I am quite happy to give her full praise and recognition for. That''s it. National express super guard 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Hucks, yes very good and we owe him a great deal of thanks, but can he cut it anymore, remember his game is about pace, and with his niggling injury has he lost that.Glenn, what a guy, hes taken us from the brink, and although at times his decisions have been odd, he is human, and his decisions have been nothing like Mr. Grant who, I''m sure if he''d have stayed much longer would''ve played David Marshall at right back!!!and delia, dear delia, again, eternal thanks for helping us out of the financial mess of the mid to late 90''s, but we''re now in the mid to late 00''s and shes still bleating on about how much shes done. Unless she morphed in to Geoffrey Watling, she did not save the club, and her comments about pumping money into the club are boring us all. She was once a great figure head, but surely she has contacts to sell on to.Thats my view anyway, and like every single one of us, we all have opinions on the club, but come matchday I still love the yellas, and always will!!! whoareyou? 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Personally in the Hull game, i thought Hucks showed brief glimpses of the Hucks of old, quick and more decisive. If he carried that on in future games (and only IF), then i would offer him a new contract.
scott 0 Posted February 20, 2008 Nows heres the real truth!- Huckerby - Great player, but hasn''t been on top form at times this season so at times hasn''t deserved to be an automatic choice. If hes not going to sign a new contract at the end of this season then it''ll be a shame but at this time he is still under contract until the end of the season and still a major threat who should be playing. To leave him (and for that matter Pattison) out for the 2 out of their depth loanees is absolutely criminal. Whilst I''m not suggesting we''d of won at Leicester on Saturday with Hucks we''d of certainly been more competitive as we were playing with 10 men before Russell got sent off! Roeder - Done wonders since he come into the club. Hes turned us from relegation certainties to a team with a slight glimmer of a chance of the play offs! But hes doing himself no favours in playing the 2 loanees Gibbs and Henry and not playing Pattison and Hucks! Delia - done a great job and put plenty of moeny into the club which was neccessary!Though if someone with more finance came in she ought to step aside!
