Ray of hope

Recommended Posts

If we think things are bad for us at the moment then there is some hope according to my Charlton colleague who saw his team play us and Leicester this week. He said that Leicester are a poorer side than us, and Gary Megson got a real slating from the Leicester away supporters.  This means that if we can beat Shef Wed, Scunthorpe and QPR, which are all winnable games, then we will be back up in mid table again.

There is always some light at the end of the tunnel.  It has to be a case of the manager lifting the players so that they can play as a team and then kick start things off with a good away performance at Man City.  Keep the faith.

We haven''t scored in 3 of our league games already this season, and have only scored more than 1 goal in 1 game.

Unless we''re planning to bore them to death I can''t see us beating any of these teams.

end of day, your the worst team iv seen this season by far, worst than sheff weds! does this mean sheff weds will beat you? prob not

and if your better than leicester then you do know 3teams go down

im not a pessimistic person but i just try n look at the other side of the coin if you get me

i myself dont think you go down or nout but finish mild 14th-16th position but you are by far worst team iv seen since crewe

We''ll get thumped at Maine Road, no doubt, but a good, committed, determined, united performance like we saw against WHU in pre-season would, as you say, be a big step towards recovery. With Drury still out and Murray at left back, and Shackell out, I worry though.

[quote user="Salopian"]How many games did Derby win 1-0 last year? It can be successful if you have the defensive power.

We''ve got more chance of winning at Maine Road than Carrow Road at the moment, but I''m not confident at all and think we probably will get thrashed at the City of Manchester Stadium![:P]
