Syteanric 1 Posted July 25, 2007 wasnt the whole point of Sheffield uniteds Court case to prove that Wet sham acted illegally in the signing of Tevez and therefore take their place in the premiership at the expense of the hammers? So if this current fiasco proves that Jorbachian owns Tevez and not West ham then doesnt it prove Sheffield united right? Like to see what the authorities will do....jas :)
Yellow Rages 0 Posted July 25, 2007 Problem is Jas that the authorities in question were the ones who allowed Tevez to be registered and passed the paperwork through.Would they not be saying that they themselves were also acting outside of the laws of the game, if they admitted West Ham had acted incorrectly? Green and Yellow 0 Posted July 25, 2007 The whole Teves saga is corrupt from the top to the bottom. West Sham are one of the good old boys with 1966 and all that. I very much doubt that a lesser club would have got away with what West Sham have. I fully support Sheffield Utd.
mbncfc 1 Posted July 25, 2007 The key to me is that West Ham received their fine/judgment on the basis that Kia had no further claim over Tevez''s economic rights. The deal was in effect ripped up.If, in fact, this isn''t the case, West Ham should be seriously punished as they would have deceived the authorities a second time having already been punished for the first offence lightly. That said, nothing will probably come of it either way because rules aren''t important anymore. Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted July 25, 2007 THe judgement and punishment was made. However they were only allowed to CONTINUE playing Tevez if all 3rd party contracts were effectively ripped up. They assured the premier league this was the case. Thus if Kia gets the fee they are due more sanctions for yet another breaking of the rules and lieing to the premier league. I hope they get relegated as would have happened to any smaller club such as ourselves. The decision was a biased disgrace from Trevor Brooking downwards. If Jorabchian is shown to have owned Tevez all along, at the very least it will show that they did not bother to check that ownership had in fact passed to West Ham. It''s more than incompetence, it''s dereliction of duty. And if it''s not their job to sort out the current mess, what are they there for?If Jorabchian does prove to be Tevez'' owner, will his transfer to Man U be allowed to go ahead?
