Hog 0 Posted May 11, 2007 I can only think of a few....Terry Alcock, Ron Ashman, Barry Butler, Kevin Keelan possibly, and thats about it I think
ricardo 8,042 Posted May 11, 2007 Sorry Nutty but I was out all day yesterday.Done it now, no problems for us with long memories. The only difficult one was the centre midfield guy with the 4 letter name. He was only here a couple of seasons, he came from Wallsall if thats any help.A few cluesAll the rest are well known. A great keeper, a local lad at left back. A good right back ( Irish surname)we got from Wolves I think.Central defence, a guy we got from Spurs (first name Freddie) and the centre half was a City legend.A brilliant little Scottish inside forward. A truly great centre forward (Welsh). A bald guy on the left (once got nicked for poaching)A crap right winger (ex Peterboro) and the other striker was a big scotch guy with a bullet shaped head.Hope that helps

nutty nigel 7,902 Posted May 11, 2007 Ricardo - I got the keeper easy! Got the centrebacks, although the guy from Spurs was known as a left half in those days. I was looking to put in Barry Butler though. Eventually got the LB who was a 59er but playing out of position? I was trying to make Mullett fit! The brilliant Scottish inside forward was my first ever favourite player, the Welsh centre forward (we could do with him now) and the bald guy were easy to get too. But this was a couple of years before my time started and I don''t think I can get the rest without cheating.

He had a namesake who was a good Man City winger with the first name of Peter. The other strikers first name was Jim (and he didn''t have a piano playing brother called Russ)Come on Nutty you can do it.
